«Breaking News» Gemma Collins continues to shirk her woes during dinner after 'split from fat-shaming James Argent'

She has branded the past seven days 'the worst week ever'. 

Yet Gemma Collins appeared determined to forget her troubles - including her bitter split from beau James Argent and her mum Joan's hospitalisation - as she hit the town in her native Essex on Tuesday evening. 

The TOWIE star, 38, ensured she was smiling from ear-to-ear for the night with the Love Island beauty, 27, as she fought through her pain after James reportedly told her she has 'more rolls than Greggs' while her mum has been struck with pneumonia.

Gemma looked sensational for the evening as she kept things low-key in a baby pink jumper with white jeans and bedazzled pink trainers. 

While baring a beaming smile, she flashed a peace sign as she attended the launch of Real Housewives Of Cheshire star Dawn Ward's new PR company Kandi tree at the Lost and Found restaraunt in Knutsford, Cheshire.

She took to Instagram during the night, in which she shared a video while tucking into a pasta - seemingly in response to her beau's cruel jibes.

Olivia also opted for a pink tweed suit with black piping, which was given an edgy touch with the addition of racy thigh-high boots and a matching bag.

Just hours before she hit the town, Gemma took to Instagram to reveal her beloved mum was in hospital, writing: 'My poor mummy in hospital with pneumonia coming home @joancollins1 to be right by your side ❤️ I love you #itsnotbeenagoodweek'.

Elsewhere, Gemma and Arg have not commented on rumours and reports surrounding their romance, after it was reported that Gemma furiously dumped Arg for posting (and deleting) a video of her snoring to Instagram Stories.

James has since been accused of sending a string of abusive texts in the wake of the break-up to Gemma, saying she has 'more rolls than Greggs'.

He has been accused of calling his ex 'an embarrassment' and 'a fat horrible lump' in a series of abusive messages seen by The Sun.

According to Dan Wootton, the messages said: 'You are a fat joke of a woman. An absolute car crash! You're nearly 40 f***ing years old, you embarrassment.'

In another, he said: 'You fat horrible lump. Nasty mean woman. Who the f*** do you think you are? You've got more rolls than Greggs.' 

A source told The Sun Online: 'Gemma ended things really quickly with Arg – she immediately locked him out of the house, and then a scrapyard van turned up to pick up his scooter.

'He turned up shortly afterwards to find himself locked out and was hammering on the door asking her to let him in.'

The source continued: 'Then Gemma's parents turned up and went in with him – and almost immediately Arg came back out...

'Her dad went out to speak to Arg for a while, then her mum sat with him in the car talking to him. Then a mate pulled up in a car and gave him a lift – and Gemma's parents went back inside.'

The source went on to suggest that Arg had turned 'nasty' after Gemma's profile soared on ITV's Dancing On Ice because he 'couldn't handle her fame'.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
