The soap stars are said to have split secretly a few months ago, keeping it quiet, following Michael's decision to quit Emmerdale and try to crack America.
Michael joined the ITV soap in 2013, where he took the role of Ross Barton, while Isabel has featured on the show as Victoria Sugden since she was just 12 - she is now 25.
This makes her one of the show's longest-running actresses.

Michael, 32, and his long-term girlfriend kept their romance on the down-low until July 2016, when they both shared snaps from Paris - evidently on a loved-up getaway together.
Of the split, a source told The Sun: 'They drifted apart and felt it was better to be mates. He has been throwing himself into his social life and has just been on a lads' holiday and she is focusing on work.
'They're both young and want to follow their dreams. They had a meaningful relationship and they'll remember the good times.'

MailOnline contacted both Michael and Isabel's representatives for comment.
Gushing over Isabel on her 24th birthday, Michael took to Instagram to post: 'Happy 24th birthday to this little one. Who woulda thought that 5’2 (and a half) could pack so much love, devotion and attitude. Thank you for being the most wonderful and caring best friend a boy could ask for. Love you to the moon and back [sic].'
In August 2017, Isabel posted a snap of the pair, captioning it: 'Celebrating the birth of this fool....I mean great guy!'
While this post still remains on Isabel's account, a quick scroll shows that Michael seems to have deleted all traces of his ex.

The couple's on-screen characters shared a kiss in 2016 - when Ross tried it on with Victoria, only to receive a slap around the face as a result.
Before leaving the soap, Ross was the victim of a horrendous acid attack - a storyline the soap won praise for.
On leaving Emmerdale, Michael said: 'I feel like I've had a big American influence in my life, obviously because my mum is American. I feel like it's always calling me.
'I just think it'd be so cool to just maybe do a year in New York and maybe go for it in LA, see if I can get some work out there.
'I just want to be an actor that jobs. Like I pop up in an episode of this, an episode of that. I've no desire to be a huge superstar, I just want to act.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
