«Breaking News» Danniella Westbrook launches furious rant about Kerry Katona

Danniella Westbrook has slammed her former best friend and mentor Kerry Katona for her boozy appearance on Celebs Go Dating.

Kerry is starring in the news series of the E4 show, and during Sunday's debut episode the mother of five was seen getting drunk on a car crash date. 

Danniella, who is currently in rehab for her own addiction problems, slammed her former pal for 'relapsing' before claiming she is making money out of her during her own recovery.

On Monday Danniella replied to a Twitter follower who said 'Kerry is to friendship what Judas is to loyalty.'

'She only has loyalty to what makes her money and pays for what she needs,' Danniella wrote. 'She bangs on about being in recovery & gets tipsy on @CelebsGoDating last night.. clearly relapsed from her 12 step program.'

'Being in recovery means abstinence from all mind altering substances including alcohol,.: if you drink it’s a relapse.. the 12 steps work.. working your own program doesn’t as I well know hence being back in rehab #12steps,' she later wrote.

On Celebs Go Dating Kerry was seen out with a man, getting increasingly inebriated and rambling on to him about her three ex husbands. 

She also broke down in tears on the show, faced with the prospect of getting back on the dating scene, telling new dating coach Anna Williamson 'I'm s***ing myself!'.

A pep talk and some glasses of prosecco soon saw the star heading out in the singles mixer to meet some men though.

After calling out Kerry's onscreen drinking on Monday, Danniella also linked to an article on Twitter that described how she had once called Kerry her 'inspiration' for mentoring her through her recovery.    

Danniella wrote: 'Your no inspiration 2 me thanks 4 money out of me whilst I'm getting well. Maybe next time stop ya jaw swinging on @loosewomen.'

The Sun reported earlier this week that Daniella had called Kerry from rehab to end their long-standing friendship after Kerry spoke about her on a recent episode of Loose Women.

Kerry gave the ITV show an update on Danniella during her three month rehab stay, explaining: 'I love Danniella Westbrook I really do. I know she's had a lot of problems.

'Being where Danniella has been - I will admit not to that extent - I do know I could see when someone genuinely wants the help or not ready to admit.'

'You can't help someone who's not ready to get help. I was in that situation. Until I was ready to help myself, nobody could help me.'  

A source has told The Sun that Danniella called Kerry after hearing about the interview to end their friendship, leaving Kerry 'horrified.' 

'She was furious that Kerry had spoken about her on Loose Women and says she shouldn’t have said anything,' the source said/

'Kerry was so upset as she’s always been very, very supportive of Danniella and has only ever said nice things about her.'

'Kerry’s blocked Danniella on all social networks and blocked her number as Danniella’s son Kai called her too saying that she’d upset his mum.' 

Kerry and Danniella previously appeared on Loose Women together in May 2018 to speak about their parallel battles with addiction.

Kerry first started using drugs when she was 14. However in 2008, she also confirmed that she was an alcoholic.

The star then checked into rehab in 2008 and 2010, before embarking on a completely clean lifestyle.

Fellow TV star Danniella has also had a 20-year battle with addiction but checked into rehab last February and again this year after vowing to quit for good.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
