«Breaking News» Luxury doggy daycare upsets residents in a San Francisco neighborhood

An 'innovative dog experience' in the form of a daycare is coming to a San Francisco community next month whether they like it or not.

Doggy Style, Incorporated, which has billed itself as a luxury dogclub, has prompted a few snarls from local residents who are rolling their eyes at the soon-to-be sight of another upscale pup daycare.

The daycare, set to open in Noe Valley, will be one of nearly a dozen businesses that promises doggy experiences like no other in the area.

But several residents have a bone to pick with the neighborhood which recently rejected an organic dog food store last year.

'This is just over the top terrible, and it’s opening in Noe Valley somehow,' one Twitter user wrote in response to the daycare.

Another user tweeted: 'SF has become a parody of itself. But I guess that’s old news. Also, stupid name.'

One user called the company 'utter BS' while another said she doesn't 'even get what this is'.

The top-tier membership level, The Dog Wears Prada, requires a one-time initiation fee of $7,500.

After the initiation fee, members enjoy luxury perks for just $1,500 per month.

Some of those perks include a hand-painted mural of their dogs, a pickup and drop-off concierge service, and a private birthday party for 12 dogs and their humans.

The middle tiers range in price from $500 to $1,000 a month.

The prices for the highest membership levels raised even more eyebrows with one user saying: '1k per month?!! might as well get another room in your apt.'

Doggy Style will be settling down in a city that is right in the middle of a homelessness crisis.

Last year, a recent count revealed that roughly 7,500 people in San Francisco are homeless.

Some people, however, believe that number is as high as 12,000.

But Doggy Style co-owners Cameron Silva and Rachel Swann said the daycare isn't 'based on status or wealth or social anything'.

'It's really based on behavior of the animal and the ability of the human to connect,' Silva told SF Gate.

They said the idea for the daycare came from their own personal experiences with taking care of their seven dogs, adding that it is 'solving our own problem'.

And as far as the prices go, Silva told SF Gate that they align with other doggy daycares in the area.

At the nearby Wag Hotel, a single daily visit costs $46, while a monthly unlimited membership costs $630. That price works out to be $130 more than Doggy Style's $500 monthly membership tier.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
