«Breaking News» Victoria Beckham looks super stylish in brown dress in NYC

She recently recalled the time she thought she had been shot on stage while performing with the Spice Girls at the BRIT Awards in 1997.

And Victoria Beckham was putting in a stylish appearance following her shock confession, enjoying a late dinner at Carbone in New York City.

The 44-year-old designer was dressed to impress in a brown brushed silk dress with button down detailing at the bust.

The glamorous frock teased a glimpse of her black lace lingerie and was set off with eye-catching accessories.

Victoria added a pop of colour to her dinner date loom thanks to a cute pair of red heels with gold detailing.

She matched her bold red clutch bag to her funky footwear and stuck to the same colour theme with her manicure.

Victoria wore her brunette locks down loose and highlighted her cheekbones with shimmery bronzer.

Her outing comes after Victoria reminisced about the haunting moment when she looked for 'bullet holes' in her stomach when she stood next to her band at the BRITs.

The singer's shocking revelations, which she confessed in her autobiography Learn To Fly, have emerged again just months before the Spice Girls reunite for their tour.

In her memoirs, Victoria shared the utter terror she felt when she heard loud bangs on the stage before the Spice Girls were presented with an award two decades ago. 

'My emotion was simply from the knowledge that I was alive. I was so convinced I'd been shot that I actually looked for bullet holes,' she recalled in her book. 

The star was unable to finish the last chorus to Goodbye when the loud bangs left her terrified she had been shot. 

Naturally the fashion designer was fearful because she and her husband David were terrorised by a persistent stalker for months. 

The showbiz couple were tormented by a series of threatening messages but one claimed Victoria would die at the awards ceremony.

It read: 'Victoria, you b****. I hate you. You're going to die. See you at the Brits at Earls Court on the 3 March.'

However, the piercing sounds turned out to be the result of balloons being popped to mark the Spice Girls receiving their award.  

Victoria elaborated in her book: 'Out of the corner of my eye, I realised what had happened. The roof of Earls Court had been covered by a thousand balloons and for the finale they were somehow bursting them. They hadn't told us this was going to happen.

'Tears of relief were pouring out of my eyes as I realised I wasn't dead. Then Will Smith came on stage and presented us with the award. 

'The next day there are pictures of me bent over on the stage with tears in my eyes and it was "Posh gets emotional" because they assumed I was overcome with having won this award.' 

As her band mates prepare to reunite for their hotly-anticipated reunion tour, Victoria has turned her back on making a comeback to the stage.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
