«Breaking News» Strictly Come Dancing's Kate Silverton leaves It Takes Two studio

On Sunday she became the eighth celebrity to depart from Strictly Come Dancing.

And Kate Silverton's elimination from the BBC show clearly hasn't dampened her spirits, as she looked happier than ever as she left The Hospital Club in London on Monday night after filming Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two.

Clad in a flowing silk navy dress, the newsreader, 48, flashed a wide smile as she strolled out of the private member's club, whilst clutching onto a chic bouquet of flowers.

Her sleek knee-length frock was adorned with a white feather and black bead embellished halterneck.

The star added height to her look with a pair of black barely-there stilettos, and accessorised with a sparkling silver bracelet and drop earrings.

Kate emphasised her natural beauty with a nude lip and lashings of black mascara and a smudge of eyeliner.

Adding to the sultry make-up look, she opted for a demure burgundy pedicure.

Kate wore her short brunette locks into a perfectly coiffed, voluminous hairdo and couldn't wipe a smile off her face as she teetered out the studio.

The newsreader was eliminated from Strictly in emotional scenes after losing out to Graeme Swann in the dreaded dance off at Blackpool.

Yet she had only positive words as she recapped her experience and gushed over her professional partner Aljaž Škorjanec.

After finding herself in the bottom two, she was forced to perform her American Smooth to Everlasting Love again, whilst Graeme and his professional partner Oti Mabuse did their Theatre & Jazz (Couples Choice) to The Trolley Song.

Yet despite Kate's best efforts, the judges unanimously voted to save Graeme and Oti - who had beaten their top score on Saturday with their Jazz routine.

When asked by Tess Daly about her time on the show, Kate said: 'You know I'm actually weirdly perversely, not that I would have wanted to go out, but on a night like tonight in such a place, I couldn't have asked for anything better really. 

'I got to dance twice, went up in a hot air balloon twice, and I loved it twice.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
