A disturbing cellphone video captured what appeared to be a group of people attacking a heavily pregnant woman and her boyfriend outside a Virginia mall on Thanksgiving.
Rosalinda Cunningham and her boyfriend of three years, Vincent Pace, were shopping at the Spotsylvania Towne Center at around 9.30pm on Thursday when the mom-to-be, who is eight months pregnant, began experiencing contractions.
The couple got into their car and were preparing to pull out of the mall parking lot when they claim a gaggle of people, some of whom looked like teenagers, surrounded their car and blocked their way out.

In an interview with WTVR, Cunningham said the assailants started banging on, and kicking, their car, and then ordered her boyfriend out of the vehicle.
Pace's door on the driver's side was locked, but Cunningham’s was not, so the attackers allegedly attempted to drag the heavily pregnant woman out of her seat.
The boyfriend jumped out of the car and tried to protect his girlfriend, but every time he got close to her, Pace says the thugs would knock him to the ground.
When Cunningham tried to get one of the attackers off of Pace, she says a woman ran up to her and began hitting her in the back.
‘My heart dropped because I thought it was her stomach [being hit],’ Pace told the station.
Eventually, the couple were able to somehow get away and drove to a nearby hospital, where staff spent more than two hours trying to find for their unborn baby's heartbeat.
Tests eventually determined that Cunningham and Pace’s baby was unharmed.
The pair are scheduled to welcome their first child together, a boy, on December 18.

A spokesperson for the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office told DailyMail.com on Monday the agency has launched an investigation into Thursday's altercation.
The official said it was too early to tell what prompted the attack, but according to a Facebook user purporting to have knowledge of what happened, Pace and his girlfriend might have been involved in some kind of a road rage incident just before the attack.
A woman posted screenshots of a long post penned by a third party onto Pace's Facebook page, in which the author claimed that the father-to-be had failed to mention in his TV interview that he was trying to hit someone with his car and then drove closely to two people, prompting them to kick Pace's vehicle.
Pace then allegedly parked the car and got out 'to fight not realizing the guy he [sic] fighting has others with him,' according to the message.
The alleged witness went on to allege that Cunningham was not dragged out of the car, but emerged from the passenger's seat of her own accord to help her boyfriend, which entailed jumping on the back of one of the attackers and punching him.
Instead of getting back in the car and calling police, the user claimed, Cunningham allegedly returned to the vehicle to grab a wrench, but one of the men snatched it from her hands.
‘SHE put her unborn in danger,’ the post read.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
