«Breaking News» Kellyanne Conway: 'I definitely pray for Hillary Clinton'

Kellyanne Conway says her faith has helped her to put aside her grievances with political rivals like Hillary Clinton and be the bigger person.

Winning the 2016 election has also made it easier for her to move on, the senior Trump aide admits.

'I pray for my critics. I think winning also has finished a lot of sentences and solved a lot of problems,' she told ABC News' Paula Farris in a pre-holiday podcast.

Those critics include the former first lady that President Trump crushed in the general election.

'I definitely pray for Hillary Clinton. I pray for anyone who lacks that level of self-awareness,' Conway told Farris.

Conway has claimed throughout the nearly two years of the Trump administration that she doesn't speak of or even think about her boss' vanquished opponent very often — even as she's had burns at tip of her tongue about the ex-senator's money-making exploits with her former president husband.

The White House official who led Trump to victory told Farris that she keeps Clinton in her prayers, though, and genuinely hopes the politician who could make a comeback bid in 2020 will use her significant influence to make the world a better place.

Clinton came up in the podcast discussion as Conway talked about reconciling the 'enormous strain' of her job with her her 'unflappable' faith in God.

'That’s where my faith has played a big role for me because I need to forgive them almost immediately. I need to be a bigger person. I forgive my critics and I pray for them because something must be deeply bothering them,' she said.

Prompted by Farris to say whether Clinton has a place in Conway's prayers, the counselor to the president said she absolutely prays for the failed presidential candidate.

'And I pray that she’ll see that she still has a very large platform to do good,' she added.

Conway also told Farris that opponents of President Trump's policies who claim his actions clash with his professed faith 'should look a little harder' and stop allowing their partisan beliefs to cloud their judgement.

'His Christianity is personal to him and that is his belief system,' she said at first.

Pressed by to go further by Farris, who asked 'isn’t Christianity loving God and loving people' and 'allowing people to see that there’s something different inside of them,' Conway said that some of Trump's critics just can't get over the 2016 election.

'Well they should look a little harder. They should look at all. I think people are blinded by their own partisanship. Some are blinded by their own lack of faith in our leaders, in our institutions,' she said. 'There are some frankly who still can’t get over an election that was two years ago.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
