Fans were given a first-hand glimpse of Ellie Goulding’s enormous engagement ring as she signed autographs outside BBC Radio1 studios on Wednesday morning.
The singer showed off the tasteful diamond ring she accepted during fiancé Casper Jopling’s proposal as she met a handful of loyal fans ahead of her latest Live Lounge performance.
Ellie, 31, was in high spirits as she signed autographs and posed for selfies, with many finding their way onto her Twitter account following a series of retweets.

The singer looked typically stylish in high-slung Burberry trousers and a green and white striped top as she made her latest public appearance.
She teamed her outfit with retro white trainers, while a mid-length black coat rounded things off.
The star is one of numerous musicians and singers to appear on Live Lounge throughout the month of November.
Hosted by Clara Amfo, the event has already featured performances from the likes of Mumford and Sons, George Ezra and The 1975.

But Ellie Goulding has admitted she's struggling to find the time to plan her big day and has enlisted the help of a wedding planner while trying to get her next album off the ground.
The singer, 31, explained plans for the couple's nuptials are yet to get underway as she performed at the Hits Radio Live concert at the Manchester Arena on Sunday.
Speaking to Hits Radio's Sarah-Jane Crawford, Ellie said: 'I've got someone helping me do it, but I'm trying to focus on getting the album out. So its kind of a whole other ball game.'

The Starry Eyed hitmaker said she hopes her new time-demanding album 'sounds like me and nothing else', adding: 'I always like to stay kind of as an innovator in pop music and I like to do something different.
'I just wanna make sure that it doesn't sound like anything else and I've always wanted to do that. I always make pop music but I always like it to sound like me and nothing else.'
The pop princess admitted that while she enjoyed a brief break away from the music industry, it feels good to be back.

Ellie explained: 'It feels nice to be performing again. But at one point I was doing shows kind of continuously non-stop, so it's nice to have had a break and then come back and feel kind of refreshed-ish.'
Ellie and Caspar, 26, shared their engagement news in August after dating for 18 months with an announcement in The Times.
It read: 'The engagement is announced between Caspar, son of The Hon Nicholas Jopling of Yorkshire and Mrs Jayne Warde-Aldam of Yorkshire, and Elena, daughter of Mr Arthur Goulding of Hertfordshire and Mrs Tracey Sumner of West Midlands.'
Back in April, Ellie described Caspar as 'very special' and said that her taking a break from touring had helped their romance flourish.
She told The Observer: 'I thought for a long time that I could never really take the time to nurture a relationship because I'm never around.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
