«Breaking News» Bookmakers suspend bets on Meghan Markle having twins after 'unprecedented amount of bets' placed

Bookies have reportedly stopped taking bets on Meghan Markle having twins after 'an unprecedented amount of bets' were placed.

It is thought an insider with knowledge of the situation may have placed money on the couple have twins.

Odds were slashed from 5/1 to odds-on on Friday night after the flurry of high stakes and the market was later suspended after more money piled on Meghan having two children.

Paddy Power believes someone, possibly a punter, has inside information after the sudden stream of 'big money' wagers.

The bookmakers say they have been forced to refuse to take any further bets with the price was as high as 5/1 before the suspension.

Paddy Power even hinted an inside source may 'know something more than we do'.

A spokesman for the Irish bookmakers said: 'We had to suspend betting. We saw an almost identical pattern of betting before the announcements of the couple's engagement and pregnancy. 

'An unprecedented amount of bets on Meghan and Harry to have twins has forced us to stop taking bets on the market altogether this morning.

'Since the day began, the stream of bets has led us to believe that perhaps the punters - or an insider source - knows something more than we do.'

At 8/1 Diana remains the favourite name for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's firstborn should it be a girl.  

But the name Arthur has become a popular bet for the bookies at 12/1, suggesting the royals could use either.

The name Alice is also popular and at the same odds as Arthur, with Edward and Elizabeth following closely behind at 16/1.

It emerged yesterday that Harry and his wife Meghan are to move out of Kensington Palace next month to set up home at Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor estate.

The royal couple currently live in Nottingham Cottage in the ground of Kensington Palace and are upping sticks to accommodate their expanding family.

This move would also allow Meghan's mother Doria Ragland, who has just moved to the UK, to join them, and there would be room for a live-in nanny.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
