«Breaking News» Bondi lifeguard paddles shark to safety

A lifeguard has saved the life of a shark that washed up on Bondi Beach by picking him up and placing him on his board - before paddling him out to the open ocean to fight another day.

The video shows two lifeguards carefully rescuing a Port Jackson shark in North Bondi, Sydney, that was struggling to get back out to sea. The shark had already negotiated the beach's nets and had somehow found himself almost on the shore.

With the help of a colleague, the guard picks up the shark in the shorebreak, places the shark on his board and then paddles out to sea.

The guard's caring act on a busy day is met with the approval of the crowds with beachgoers cheering on the lifeguard.

'Only in Australia,' one woman said.

'That's fantastic,' another replied. 

After returning to shore, the lifeguard can't contain his joy from saving the shark.

'That was one of the most unreal things I've ever done,' he said.

When another lifeguard asked what happened, he said, 'He [the shark] just went down. Then I went out.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
