«Breaking News» Argentine boy, 6, will visit his favorite soccer stadium after he tried selling his toys to do so

A six-year-old boy will finally live the dream of watching a soccer match at his favorite pitch in Argentina after he tried to sell all of his toys.

Renzo caught the attention of local soccer fans in the town of Parana, as well as those overseas, after he recently set up a makeshift garage sale in front of his home with a sign in Spanish that read, 'I sell toys so that I can go to Monumental'.

He will do in just a matter of days when he witnesses one of the sports biggest rivalries with a championship on the line.

The elementary school student's sole intention was to make enough money to catch a game at Estadio Monumental, the home of his favorite team, River Plate.

His parents posted a picture on their Facebook account which quickly made waves on social media.

But thanks to River Plate fan clubs in Parana and Malaga, Spain, Renzo will get to keep his favorite toys and visit the iconic stadium and sit among 70,000 fans this Saturday.

The president of the supporter's club in Parana was able to get his hands on the most sought after ticket for the second leg of this Saturday's Copa Libertadores championship, when River Plate welcomes Boca Juniors.

Tickets are fetching as much as $7,000 on the resell market.

The storied clubs played to a 1-1 draw last Sunday.

'When I saw the publication of Renzo in social networks, where he said he was selling his toys to go to the pitch, I did not hesitate to visit him,' said Emanuel Julian Barneaud, head of Agrupacion River [River Troop], according to Diario AS.

'My mom did the impossible in 2001 so that I could go to see River for the first time I suppose she even stopped eating.'

Thanks to Filial de Malaga [Malaga Affiliate], Renzo and his mother Carolina will also be in attendance in two weeks for a league game when River Plate faces Gimnasia on December 2 and will receive a round-trip airfare to avoid the five-hour car ride.

'River is not only football, River is family, love and passion and that is why we do not hesitate to carry out this beautiful cause of support,' a member of the Spaniard fan club told Argentine outlet Ole.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
