«Breaking News» Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp reveals Naby Keita suffered 'back injury' against Napoli

Naby Keita has been sent to hospital after picking up a back injury during Liverpool's defeat to Napoli in the Champions League.  

The midfielder was forced off in the 19th minute at Stadio San Paolo on Wednesday as Liverpool fell to a last-gasp 1-0 defeat through a 90th minute strike from Lorenzo Insigne.

While the defeat will have upset Klopp, he will be just as worried about the early injury suffered by Keita, which Liverpool confirmed their star was suffering from 'back pain'.

In the immediate aftermath of the defeat, Klopp admitted he was unsure what injury 23-year-old Keita - who was taken off on a medical cart - had suffered.

However, speaking during his press conference, the German manager later confirmed: 'It is a back problem. We have to wait' 

Klopp will be hoping that Keita's problem isn't too serious with a mouth-watering Premier League clash against Manchester City on the horizon.

Liverpool take on Pep Guardiola's reigning Champions at Anfield on Sunday as both teams look to lay down an early marker in the top flight.

City and Liverpool currently sit first and second respectively on 19 points from seven games, with Guardiola's men top on goal difference heading into the weekend's action.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
