«Breaking News» Gigi Hadid and sister Bella lead the stars at the Business of Fashion Awards

As two of the world's leading supermodels they aren't afraid to take risks when it comes to fashion.

And Gigi Hadid and sister Bella opted for rather unconventional styles as they attended the The Business Of Fashion's #BoF500 2018 gala dinner during New York Fashion Week at Hotel Brooklyn Bridge in New York City on Sunday night.

The fashion-forward pairing broke the mould, with Gigi, 23, catching the eye in a vibrant yellow maxi dress, while Bella, 21, took the sports luxe trend to a whole new level.

Proving her statuesque physique can make just about any ensemble look good, the beauty proved autumnal outfits needn't mean bidding goodbye to a more spirited colour palette in a mustard-coloured shirt dress. 

Ensuring the style didn't swamp her physique, Gigi put a sexy spin on things by unbuttoning the shirt to the navel, allowing her to flash a hint of cleavage, with gold pendant jewellery only drawing more attention to her decolletage.  

She highlighted her svelte waist with a metal belt, though it was no doubt Gigi's choice of handbag that would have had most talking as the star toted an offbeat Brandon Maxwell piece that comprised a bottle of rose champagne encased in a see-through, plastic bag.

When it came to her hair and make-up, Gigi toughed up her look by sweeping her trademark blonde tresses into a slightly dishevelled, wet look up-do and opted for a dramatic copper-tone eyeshadow look and nude lipstick.  

Bella made for an equally glamorous counterpart in an elaborate trouser suit that flashed major cleavage, the design's corset-style fit only accentuating the star's taut waist and ample assets. 

The outlandish ensemble was adorned with a number of offbeat drawstring cords, with Bella tying the rope at the ankle to create a more tailored silhouette.

Up top, the look was more romantic in nature, with her jacket boasting long, puffball sleeves and a slight peplum hem, that raised to reveal a hint of Bella's toned midriff. Beneath the unusual piece, Bella sported a cowl neck top that emphasised her cleavage with its halter-neckline.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
