«Breaking News» NYPD seeks vicious robber who beat clerk with wine bottles and hospitalized two others

The NYPD is seeking a suspect in a pair of vicious strong-arm shop robberies that left a 66-year-old man and 88-year-old woman hospitalized in serious but stable condition.

The two attacks on storekeepers took place on Sunday afternoon within a mile of each other in lower Manhattan, police said in an appeal to the public for information on the suspect.

The suspect is described as a black male, 45 to 60 years old, bald, and last seen wearing blue jeans, an orange baseball cap, and an orange T-shirt.

The first shocking assault occurred at about 12.45pm, when the suspect approached the the store clerk at Seward Park Liquors on the Lower East Side menacingly wielding a wine bottle.

The crook threatened to beat the store employee with the wine bottle unless he handed over cash from the register, according to police.

The clerk, a 41-year-old man, bluntly refused. As the suspect took a swing at him with the wine bottle, the employee tried to flee.

Surveillance video shows the deranged robber chasing the clerk, trapping him in a corner and hurling wine bottles at his head.

After the clerk managed to escape outside of the store, the suspect opens the cash register and loots the till. Police say he made off with about $200 in cash.

The clerk was treated at the scene by paramedics. But the demented robber's violent spree was just getting started.

At 2pm, a little over a mile away at Reno Fashion in Greenwich Village, the suspect reappeared, having changed into a different orange shirt and orange cap, cops said.

Surveillance video from the shoe store shows the suspect strolling casually in and approaching an employee from behind.

Without warning, he sucker-punches the 66-year-old male clerk and continues pummeling the man as he drops to the floor.

Bravely, an 88-year-old woman who also works at the store tries to intervene and pull the violent attacker off of her coworker.

The crook shows no mercy, raining blows upon the elderly woman's head before turning back to beat the male victim again.

Police say that the suspect repeated his bizarre MO from the first robbery by striking the man repeatedly in the head with glass jars and a large ceramic pot.

The suspect attempted to remove cash from the store's register before fleeing on foot. He was last seen heading north on LaGuardia Place.

Both victims in the shoe store suffered numerous lacerations to their heads and were rushed to Bellevue Hospital in serious but stable condition, the NYPD said.

Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline confidentially at 1-800-577-8477.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
