«Breaking News» Australian fitspo mum's diet and exercise routine is NOT for the faint-hearted

She is the exceptionally fit mother-of-two who sports a physique honed to perfection through thousands of hours spent sculpting abs, thighs, arms and legs.

But 30-year-old Stephanie Sanzo's enviable form hasn't come without plenty of sweat and an incredible level of dedication.

The personal trainer, from Geelong, Victoria, radically changed her lifestyle 11 years ago after a 25kg weight gain following the birth of her first child.

Now, not only is Stephanie a fitness model and competitive powerlifter, she has over a million followers on Instagram - many who turn to her feed for fit-spiration.

Here, FEMAIL takes a look at the busy mum's daily schedule along with why she eats six times a day (including three main meals that come served with steak).

Stephanie makes an early start a priority, but as she revealed to Body + Soul her 7am wake-up time allows her some much-needed before rousing her kids for school.

By 8am, the personal trainer, who eats six times a day, will start on her meal prep ahead of her first meal.

At 8.30am Stephanie said she will sit down to tuck into a powerhouse combination, one that consists of Porterhouse steak, spinach, almonds, baby carrot and orange.

A coffee is also included for extra energy.

She shared an 8.45am school run takes next to no time and by 9am she's back home catching up on work-related emails before heading out for a 10am training session.

After a solid hour and a half workout, Stephanie, who previously told Daily Mail Australia she eats 1,800 calories, sits down to her second meal.

This meal consists of salmon, white rice and pineapple simmered in a cup of chicken stock.

Instead of lunch at midday, Stephanie will run errands - a task that will take her up to her next meal which is at 2pm.

She revealed this meal, one that's also protein-intensive, comes with a serving of eye-fillet steak, white rice and orange.

Her hours between 2.30 and 4.30pm are dedicated to collecting her kids from school, homework duties and dinner prep.

She will also sit down to eat her fourth meal at this time too.

After she's bathed the kids and cleared the mess from dinner, the family will sit down to dessert (and Stephanie for meal six) at 6.30pm.

Given the time of day, this meal is a little lighter and consists of eggs, spinach, and tomato.

Between 7 and 9pm Stephanie shares details of her day with her followers on Instagram and gets her children ready for bed.

Her sixth meal of the day, a simple affair of yoghurt and blueberries.

This sees her through the rest of the night, which includes a little downtime spent watching Netflix, before bedtime at the very reasonable hour of 11pm.

'Shortly after my husband and I separated a friend suggested the gym so I decided to sign up and see how I went. I had a goal of doing a bodybuilding competition so I got a coach because I had no idea what I was doing,' she said

Sharing details of her fitness journey, one she begun 10 years ago, Stephanie told Daily Mail Australia she became even more motivated after studying the fundamentals of personal training.

'While I was studying my certificate three and four I learned so much about the fundamentals of the body and picked up running,' she said.

'Everyday I was running 10 kilometres with the pram. It was my escape and I just really needed that fulfillment in my day.'

Lean: 'It took a year to lose the weight the first time and I didn't want to do that again so I was sure to be mindful of what I ate and went for a walk every day,' she said of her second pregnancy

A year later she fell pregnant with her daughter and decided to focus on a healthier pregnancy.

What is Stephanie Sanzo's routine?

EXERCISE:

* Weight lifting every day (either power lifting or body building for a heavy pimp up)

* No cardio as it can eat into muscle

DIET:

* 1,800 calories a day and counting macros

* Break it down into macros so for example 200 grams of carbs, 40 grams of fat and 120 grams of protein

* I then pick foods to work with like sweet potato, chicken and broccoli and break them up into meals for the day

* Everything is routine

* No alcohol but a cheat meal every week and chocolate (two squares) any day is fine if I am craving it

'In my first pregnancy I would eat anything I wanted when I felt like it including KFC and chocolate... you name it,' she said.

'I didn't feel confident after that at all and I had a wobbly belly and while I didn't have stretch marks I didn't feel good and my clothes were all very tight.

'It took a year to lose the weight the first time and I didn't want to do that again so I was sure to be mindful of what I ate and went for a walk every day.

'At the end of my second pregnancy I had only gained 12 kilograms.'

Stephanie unfortunately suffered a pelvic prolapse after her second pregnancy and was no longer able to run.

'I started lifting at home first as my then husband had a weight pack that had two little dumbbells in it where you could change up the weights,' Ms Sanzo said.

'When he would go to work at night I would just sit at home and lift and I started to gain muscle really easy. I would also do a million crunches after the kids went to bed and just play around doing exercises in the living room.

'Shortly after my husband and I separated a friend suggested the gym so I decided to sign up and see how I went. I had a goal of doing a bodybuilding competition so I got a coach because I had no idea what I was doing.'

After switching to an 80 per cent clean diet and following a strict regime in 2012, Stephanie entered her first show in 2013 and placed 2nd.

'My coach gave me a program for the gym for 16 weeks and taught me how to lift weights,' she said.

'Back then it was minimal carbs - the way you shouldn't do it - but I stayed with her for three years and entered more competitions until my body got sick from bad dieting and being starving and looking after the kids... just exhaustion.'

The mum-of-two took some time off, started working as a personal trainer and spent a great deal of time researching a healthier, more effective training plan.

'My metabolism was damaged from eating such a low amount of calories for so long so I took my time and created a schedule that worked around my kids and involved eating more calories,' she said.

'I eat 1,800 calories a day and count my macros so I have a pretty straightforward, simple routine

'I usually drop the kids off at school, train clients and myself five days a week and then at night I do online personal training as well.

'I eat 1,800 calories a day and count my macros so I have a pretty straightforward, simple routine.'

She revealed doesn't do any cardio and spends all of her workout time lifting weights.

'It's controversial really but it's not needed. If you do too much cardio while dieting you can chew into muscle. If you are doing a show you can do it to get rid of fat quickly but all year round if you eat well you don't need cardio,' she said.

'If you are lifting right and lifting heavy you don't need it... it's cardio in itself as it lifts the heart rate.

'Every day I do lifting - either power lifting or body building.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
