«Breaking News» Wes Nelson rules out reconciling with Megan Barton Hanson and admits they 'don't speak' anymore

Wes Nelson has ruled out ever reconciling with Megan Barton Hanson, calling their situation 'very sad'. 

The Love Island finalists split in January after Megan grew suspicious of Wes' relationship with his Dancing On Ice partner Vanessa Bauer, but several fans believed the pair would soon patch things up. 

However, Wes shut down hopes of a reunion as he appeared on Monday's Loose Women, claiming that he and Megan barely speak and praising Vanessa for her professionalism throughout the competition.

Asked if there was a chance, he and Megan would get back together, he sighed: 'I don't think so, it's sad it is very sad.'

Discussing their break-up, he reasoned: 'It's very difficult. Any person in the public eye knows, when your relationship is your career essentially. It was a lot of pressure, there was a lot of opinions.'

Admitting things are still fractious between the pair, he confessed: 'We haven’t spoken in a good amount of time. Sometimes it's civil, sometimes it's not.

'I'm not a malicious person, I'm not bitter.'

Last week, it was claimed that Wes had enjoyed a secret fling with Vanessa at the start of the competition, with a source telling The Sun: 'Wes and Vanessa were instantly attracted to each other, you only had to be in the same room as them for a minute to see sparks were flying.

'But it wasn’t long before Wes decided he would rather stay single. He is the man of the moment and fast becoming a household name.'

They added that it has been 'really awkward' but the two stars are reportedly 'being professional' after the alleged fling.

Yet Wes dismissed the claims, and the ongoing rumours that something was going on between them, as he explained: 'At the beginning when it was prominent, it was very, very difficult. 

'I'd be on training and on my phone and stories would come out. It was an absolute nightmare.'

Denying that he and Vanessa are anything more than friends, he continued: 'There was a lot of allegations around, there's no truth to it whatsoever. 

'It was laughable as well. Vanessa is the most professional person I've ever met in my life. We all go through heartbreak, there's a lot of people who go through breakups in life.'  

Pressure: Discussing their break-up, he reasoned, 'It's very difficult. Any person in the public eye knows, when your relationship is your career essentially. It was a lot of pressure'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
