«Breaking News» Virginia driver annoys other motorists by speeding down shoulder - but cops pull him over

It can be tempting to break the rules of the road when stuck in traffic on a highway.

But this impatient driver faced 'instant karma' when they were pulled over by cops for using the shoulder in Doswell, Virginia.

The clip, shot on February 28, shows a backlog of cars barely moving after an accident on the I-95.

But the impatient driver does not plan on staying in the tailback and joins a stream of cars taking to the shoulder to bypass the queue 

But a flood of vehicles can be seen taking to the shoulder to bypass the queue.  

The dash-cam footage shows a grey Ford Focus reverse and pull out on to the side of the road.

Yet after the accident is cleared and cars return to normal speeds, eight vehicles remain at a stand-still in the shoulder.

Included in this is the grey Ford Focus, who was part of a team of vehicles pulled over by cops near the entrance to Kings Dominion amusement park at 4pm.

Virginia State police can be seen walking between the cars, which includes three hatchbacks, three SUVs, a truck and a van.       

The car in the accident appears to be in nestled in a thicket of trees on the left side of the road, with its nose in the hedge and its door swung ajar.     

A little further down the highway - after the traffic has cleared - cops from Virginia State Police can be seen with a number of cars they have pulled over 

The eight vehicles include a truck, a van, three SUVs and three hatchbacks - including the grey Ford Focus 

The clip was posted on YouTube with the caption: 'An accident halted traffic on I-95 and after a while, some drivers decided to use the shoulder to pass the traffic. 

'Unlucky for them, police were still on the accident scene and promptly pulled all the drivers over one by one.'

One comment read: 'Dispatch, this is Patrol 35. Patrol 47 and I just met our daily quota. Can we take the rest of the day off?'

Another added: 'Best video on YouTube. Makes my day when sh***y drivers get caught.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
