«Breaking News» Twin baby boy drowned in Fort Worth bathtub after mother fell asleep while bathing with him

A six-month-old boy drowned after his mother fell asleep while they were taking a bath together. 

Firefighters in Fort Worth, Texas , responded to an 'unconscious person' call out Monday just before 6am. 

When they arrived at the home, they found a six-month-old boy in critical condition and rushed him to Cook Children's Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead at about 6.30am, according to The Dallas Morning News. 

The boy's mother reportedly told authorities that she had been bathing the baby while she was in the tub with him when she fell asleep. 

The incident took place in this neighborhood Monday morning. The six month old is the third child in North Texas reported to have drowned in a bathtub in 2019 so far

She then woke up at about 5.45am to discover that the baby — who is a twin — had slipped underwater and was unresponsive.  

Child protective services were notified and took the boy's unharmed twin into custody, according to CBS DFW.

Police are said to be investigating the incident.

It's unclear how deep the water was in the bathtub at the time when the baby drowned.  

This is the third North Texas child reported to have drowned in a bathtub in 2019 so far.  

On Thursday, a three-year-old from Decatur, Texas, drowned after being left alone in a bathtub while her mother left the room for a few minutes to take care of her other children, the Star-Telegram reported. 

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says that drowning is one of the leading causes of accidental deaths among children ages one to four. Pools are said to be the primary location for the drownings, but bathtubs are the second-leading location.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
