«Breaking News» Totally roarsome! Lion and tiger cubs are best buddies - eating, sleeping and exploring together

A four-month old tiger cub and three-and-a-half month old lion cub have become inseparable.

Smurfik, and its younger pal Eva, chase each other around and guzzle milk together at Sochi's Oktiabrski Spa, Russia

Their friendship is not destined to last, however, as in two months time they will be separated and placed into two larger enclosures. Smurfik may then be sent to Moscow, or Ekaterinburg.

Footage shot at their home shows the two hard at play.

The tiger creeps up on the lion hiding behind a wall, who then leaps out at it, and the two run off together.

In another shot, the lion runs around behind the tiger playfully tugging at its behind.

The two also clamber behind a screen together to do some exploring, and at one point the young tiger decides to hide under a chair while the lion cub basks in the sun.

'They behave perfectly,' said spa manager Olga Zaskavskaya.

'They understand what is allowed and what isn’t.

'We will raise them as far as possible at our place. Later on we let them go into an open space located in an enclosure.'

Lions and tigers do not usually meet in the wild due to their restricted habitats and reduced populations, but they did in the past.

The two big cats used to cross each others paths in India and Iran where their ranges overlapped.

Their friendship is not destined to last, however. In two months they will be separated and both placed into different enclosures

However, in India the two are now separated by man-made barriers between their different habitats.

In Iran, its Caspian Tigers are believed to be extinct. One of the last sightings was reported in 1958, in the North-eastern Golestan National Park.

Similarly, lions are also now absent from the country, today only found in India's Gir Forest, Gujarat.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
