«Breaking News» Shooting victim who was shot four times posts video live from his hospital bed

A man injured in the Christchurch mosque massacre after he moved to New Zealand for a better life has posted a heart-wrenching video from his hospital bed.

Wasseim Alsati, a barber who had migrated from Jordan five years ago, asked friends to pray for his five-year-old daughter who was critically injured in the attack.

Mr Asati was hit with four bullets, two in his back, one in the stomach and another in his foot.

His daughter Allen, was shot three times and also remains in hospital.

'Please pray for me and for my daughter, hopefully she will be so much better,' Mr Alsati says through stilted breaths.

Barely able to get the words out, Mr Alsati apologises for not being able to take phone calls.

'I'm very sorry to miss your calls and text messages, I will not be able to answer any of them right now, I am really tired.'

'I'm just posting this video to show you that I'm fully ok.'

'It's been a pleasure to know you all guys, thank you for all your support and all the help you have given me so far,' he added.

'God bless you all.'

It is believed that his daughter is now in a stable condition after undergoing surgery on Saturday and is with her mother at Starship Children's Hospital in Auckland.

A relative close to the family took to Twitter to announce her relief.

'Her blood pressure is rising and she’s a fighter,' albifalasteen wrote.

After moving from Jordan in 2014 to become a barber, Mr Alsati opened up his own business called Wass' Barbers in Richmond in Christchurch where he has also been residing with his family.

Staff who work with Mr Alsati at Wass' Barbers told Daily Mail Australia that they remain 'hopeful'.

Authorities have confirmed at least 49 people were killed in the massacre and at least 40 were injured.

Among them, one Jordanian, Khaled Haj Musatafa, was killed in the attacks and another eight injured, Jordan's Foreign Ministry announced, Arab News reports.

Brenton Tarrant, 28, appeared in Christchurch District Court charged with murder on Saturday, after he allegedly stormed a mosque in Christchurch, opening fire with a semi-automatic shotgun and a rifle on about 100 defenceless people attending Friday prayers.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
