The athlete added, 'We have to show ourselves and our female counterparts compassion and reality.'

She went on to focus heavily on women in the workplace, discussing how females are expected to do more with outlandish demands while also dealing with double standards.

Williams highlighted the struggles women face when it comes to balancing their professional and personal lives.

Through a study conducted by Survey Monkey, which the Tennis icon is a board member for, Serena talked on how numerous unfair results were found.

The first being that women provide more childcare than their male partners, while also attempting to maintain jobs.

It also showed that men are more comfortable than women are when it comes to taking professional risks.

After reporting the findings, the new mother went on to urge women to support one another.

With bold vulnerability, the clothing designer even revealed the hardships she faced after having her daughter, Alexis Olympia, in September 2017.

The athlete admitted, 'When I was getting back into training last year, I needed a lot of physical recovery. But not only was the work taxing on my healing body, it was emotionally draining too.

'I felt overwhelming guilt whenever I wanted to take "me" time, with the nagging feeling that any extra moments should be spent with Olympia,' she continued.

'I’ve cried over Olympia so many times that I’ve lost count. I cried when I stopped breastfeeding. I sat with Olympia in my arms, I talked to her, we prayed about it, and I told her, "Mommy has to do this." I cried when I missed Olympia’s first steps because I was in training.'

And the star added, 'I’m honest about my struggles as a working mom because I want other women out there to know they are not alone. We have to show ourselves and our female counterparts compassion and reality.'

And then she affirmed that it was her mom, sisters and friends who helped her through that period.

Williams ended the essay prompting females everywhere to 'come together and support one another in honor of all the groundbreaking women who came before us - and those who are proudly following our lead.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
