«Breaking News» Rex Tillerson accused Jared Kushner of endangering the U.S. over his Middle East dealings

Former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson shredded White House counselor Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of President Donald Trump, over mixing his personal interests with U.S. foreign policy, a new book revealed.

Journalist Vicky Ward detailed the confrontation between Kushner and America's top diplomat in her new book, 'Kushner, Inc.,' The Guardian revealed.

Her book examines the lives of Washington D.C.'s most prominent 'it couple': Kushner and wife Ivanka Trump, the first daughter and White House counselor.

Ward, editor at large at HuffPo, 'digs beneath the myth the couple has created, depicting themselves as the voices of reason in an otherwise crazy presidency, and reveals that Jared and Ivanka are not just the President’s chief enablers: they, like him, appear disdainful of rules, of laws, and of ethics,' according to the book's summary.

The flap copy hardly presents a favorable view of the couple, noting 'they are entitled inheritors of the worst kind; their combination of ignorance, arrogance, and an insatiable lust for power has caused havoc all over the world, and may threaten the democracy of the United States.'

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders has denounced it as a work of 'fiction.'

Ward revealed clashes between Kushner and Ivanka Trump with high-profile aides in the Trump administration. The two were reported to be trying to set up their own power center in the West Wing.

Tillerson blamed Kushner for Trump's decision to endorse a blockade against Qatar by Saudi Arabia and its allies in June 2017.

The then-secretary of state 'told Kushner that his interference had endangered the US', Ward reported in her book, a copy of which was obtained by The Guardian.

And there is also a report on how Trump's former top economic adviser Gary Cohn tore into Kushner after he learned the president's son-in-law dined with executives from the Chinese company Anbang, which was considering investing in the Kushner family's troubled property at 666 Fifth Avenue in New York City.

'You've got to be crazy,' Cohn is said to have told Kushner.

The Kushner family's tower was eventually refinanced by Qatari-backed investors.

'Kushner Inc,' which comes out March 19, portrays Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump as a couple who pushed their power on White House staffers while lashing out at anyone who was against them, ABC News reported.

'They talk to you as if they grew up in an ivory tower, which they did — but they have no idea how normal people perceive, understand, intuit,' a person close to the White House legal team told Ward, adding that they seemed like 'the type of people who, if you don't pretty much indicate quickly that you're happy to shove your head up their ass, you're immediately a threat.'

Ward reported that White House staffers nicknamed Kushner as the 'secretary of everything' and joked Ivanka Trump's team was Habi - 'home of all bad ideas,' the Guardian reported.

Ivanka Trump was reported to want to establish a Trump dynasty to rival the Kennedy or Bush families and that includes becoming president herself.

'She thinks she's going to be president of the United States,' Cohn says.

The book is filled with juicy stories likely to be dissected in Washington's back room, including an incident where Cohn noticed a document on his printer in his West Wing office that appeared to be a letter from Trump firing then-FBI director James Comey, Axios reported.

It apparently went to the wrong printer.

Cohn told his aide to take the letter straight to then-White House counsel Donald McGahn.

Upon receiving it and realizing it gone to the printer, McGahn said, 'Oh, f***!'

The New York Times reported on the first shocking excerpt from the book, which claimed President Trump told his incoming White House chief of staff John Kelly in 2017 that his daughter and son-in-law were lacking in media savvy and that he wanted them to move away from Washington.

'Get rid of my kids; get them back to New York,' he told Kelly.

Kushner's camp blasted the book, with a spokesman for Jared's attorney Abbe Lowell telling the Times that '[e]very point that Ms. Ward mentioned in what she called her 'fact checking' stage was entirely false.'

'It seems she has written a book of fiction rather than any serious attempt to get the facts. Correcting everything wrong would take too long and be pointless,' Peter Mirijanian, the spokesman, said.

Ward fired back on Twitter, saying that 'the 220 people I interviewed for the book might beg to disagree.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
