«Breaking News» Mum creates incredible 'five minute princess cake' for her little girl's third birthday

A savvy mother-of-two has wowed fans after using cheap items from the supermarket to bake a towering $30 princess cake for her daughter's third birthday party.

Olivia White, the Melbourne-based founder of House of White, has never considered herself a 'good baker' but has a talent for 'hacking' supermarket cakes to suit the theme of her daughters' birthdays.

'This year, Teddy was having a Sugar Rush party (from the movie Wreck-It Ralph) and I wanted to make something that resembled Vanellope's, Princess Castle,' Ms White, 29, said.

What did Olivia White use to make the princess cake?

Marble Block Cake: $4.50

Woolworths Red Velvet Cake: $7

Woolworths Select Mini Waffle Ice Cream Cone: $3.50

Essentials Ice Cream Cone Cups: $1.65

Betty Crocker Strawberry Frosting x 2: $8

Dr. Oetker Rose Icing Decorations: $3.50

Sshmallows White Mini Marshmallows: $2

Total: $30.15

'After hours of scrolling I got a few ideas on how I could put something easy and affordable together with just a few supplies from Woolworths.'

Ms White used just eight items to bring the cake to life, including waffle cones, a pre-iced marble cake, a red velvet cake, jars of icing and decorative roses.

She froze both of the cakes for a while before icing them to prevent the crumbs from falling off and then proceeded to place ice cream cone cups around the sides.

'Then I used some of the leftover frosting and pipped it into the top of the cones to act as a glue for the waffle cones. You could also melt some white chocolate to do the same thing,' she said.

'I then popped the Woolworths Select Mini Waffle Ice Cream Cones on top of each ice cream cup to make the rest of the towers.

'I know this isn't anything to write home about but I'm no talent at cake making, so this is good for me... plus my baby girl loved it so that's all that matters,' she said

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
