«Breaking News» Married At First Sight's Mark appears to have gone GREY on the show

An optical illusion has given off the impression that Mark Scrivens' hair has gone grey during Married At First Sight.

The 42-year-old had dark hair during his wedding to wife Ning Surasiang, but he looked noticeably grey during the boys' night episode that aired this week.

However, his grey hair appears to be an optical illusion caused by overhead lighting at the pub where the scene was filmed.

This season of Married At First Sight has been plagued with cheating scandals, explosive fights and endless drama.

But while the show has kept Australians glued to their television screens, Mark says that the whole experiment is 'toxic.'

Speaking to E! Australia on Wednesday, the 41-year-old said the participants were essentially forced into friendships due to the isolation of filming.

'We're all pretty good friends out of this and we've all been in that weird toxic bubble for a long period of time, so you do form quite close bonds,' he said.

Elsewhere during the interview, Mark denied rumours of a 'revenge romance' between his co-stars Tamara Joy and Mick Gould. 

'I actually saw Tamara yesterday... I spoke to her and she said there's nothing there,' he said.

Mick and Tamara - whose partners, Jessika Power and Dan Webb, are having an affair on the show - couldn't keep their hands off each other during a recent sighting in Melbourne.

But Mark said fans 'shouldn't read too much into it'.

It comes after the former Army officer's relationship with wife Ning Surasiang was thrown into chaos earlier this week on MAFS.

During the girls' night, Jessika told Ning that her husband couldn't wait to leave the experiment so he could 'sleep with other women'. 

Even though Jessika was only trying to deflect attention away from her own affair with Daniel, the remarks nonetheless had a devastating effect.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
