The fourth season of Married At First Sight UK premiered with strangers Stephanie and Jonathan tying the knot after their previous quests for love failed.
The episode saw experts tell the respective pair that they had found them a match, giving them six weeks to prepare for their impending nuptials by telling their shocked friends and family and trying on wedding outfits.
The engaged couple's nerves were put to rest as they both proved to be pleased after meeting at the altar for the first time - however, viewers didn't appear too confident in the longevity of their union as they noted Steph's 'trust issues'.

After Jonathan spent his spare time building her a jumbo jenga, and Steph moved her mother to tears after trying on wedding dresses, the two finally met on their wedding day.
And all appeared to be smooth sailing, as they happily shared a kiss after exchanging vows before celebrating the rest of their nuptials in a lavish reception.
'You walked in, I thought thank God,' Jonathan delightedly told Steph before telling the cameras: 'I'm really happy, it couldn’t have gone better!'
Steph also echoes his sentiments, telling cameras: 'I'm feeling very good about Jonathan. He's really easy to get along with. A lovely, genuine man. I have a really good feeling about him.'

However, while the premiere episode ended on a joyful note for the pair, who exchanged a further series of kisses at their wedding suite, viewers noted that Steph's 'trust issues' could potentially hinder their marriage.
Earlier in the episode, Steph proved emotional and on the brink of tears, when relaying the story of her ex going for a night out and cheating on her.
Fans of the show appeared convinced she was still in love with her ex, while also noting that her new husband's gaggle of female pals could add to her woes.

Earlier this month, the couples set to tie the knot for the new series of Married At First Sight UK were revealed, and one has already vowed that they will be the first to beat the divorce streak.
Jack, 25, and Verity, 28, will join Jonathan and Stephanie in meeting for the first time as they walk down the aisle, and will then live together to see if they can make romance out of such a meeting.
After insisting that she is trying the show as a 'last resort,' Office Manager Verity has insisted she and Jack will be the first couple to go the distance, as the previous six couples who made it down the aisle ended things in divorce.

Speaking to The Mirror about the big day, Jack admitted that he felt sick ahead of walking down the aisle, as it finally dawned on him that he was about to marry a woman he didn't know.
An IT Consultant from London, Jack admitted he chose to take part in the show after taking inspiration from his parents' 40-year marriage, and said his mum is keen for him to settle down.
He also vowed to beat the show's track record that none of its couples have stayed together over the past three series, saying it is possible Verity could be the one.

First impressions? Stephanie said the connection felt 'natural and normal.' Jonathan said he 'felt the same.'
A spark? Speaking to The Mirror about the big day, Jack admitted that he felt sick ahead of walking down the aisle, after saying he wants to be paired with an active petite girl

Meanwhile, Verity confessed that she genuinely feared that Jack would not turn up for the wedding, and began to feel the jitters as she donned the 1920s-style wedding dress.
As she walked down the aisle for the big day - in scenes which will air later this month - Jack grins at her, and the pair exchange brief pleasantries before the ceremony begins.
After the reception, Verity admitted she was pleased that Jack 'wasn't minging,' so it remains to be seen whether they will go the distance.

Stephanie, a nurse from Somerset, seemed similarly unfazed by the idea of tying the knot with a stranger, as she said it had been three years since her last serious relationship.
The blonde added that she wanted to dodge the obstacles of dating by being set up with a man, and said following the ceremony that it felt very 'natural and normal.'
For Jonathan, a property manager from Bristol, the biggest relief came when he saw Stephanie for the first time, after controversially admitting it was 'all about the attractiveness.'
Describing the moment she walked down the aisle, he added that everyone's breath seemed to let go when they locked eyes for the first time.
Last series saw the pairing of Ben Jardine and his then-wife Stephanie, but the couple soon called it quits.
Not long after Ben - who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother last year - admitted to cheating on his wife and getting another woman pregnant. He welcomed his first child with his ex-partner in November.
In October, a source told MailOnline that Ben was 'downcast on the one-year wedding anniversary with his wife because his divorce was taking forever.'
Married At First Sight returns on Wednesday 20th March at 9pm on Channel 4.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
