«Breaking News» Lynne McGranger says Johnny Ruffo is in good health

She's become a close friend to Johnny Ruffo since his time on Home and Away.

And actress Lynne McGranger revealed to Perth Now on Saturday, that the 30-year-old is in good health, following his brain tumour diagnosis in 2017. 

'A couple of years ago things weren't good for him, but now he is much much better,' the veteran actress said.

'He is great, he is in good health and he is really good,' Lynne, 66, said of Johnny, whom she catches up regularly with.

'He is doing great, which is so wonderful because a couple of years ago things weren't good for him but now he is much much better,' she added.   

Johnny has been on the road to recovery, since being diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour in 2017.  

Doctors were forced to remove a 7cm tumour from his skull before he subsequently underwent chemotherapy. 

Happy and healthy: 'He is great, he is in good health and he is really good,' Lynne said of Johnny, in an interview on Saturday 

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia in January, the X Factor Australia finalist said that his long battle may finally be over. 

He said at the time: 'I'm going really good. My next scan is in three weeks and provided that's all clear then I'm in the clear completely.

'That will be my last scan for now and then I've got to get another one every three months - you've got to keep checking up on it.'

Johnny also revealed that he has been working on a new single, based on his journey.

'I've got lots of big plans [for 2019],' he said. 'I've got some new music coming out, the next song that I'll release is called Broken Glass.'

'It's kind of about my experience over the last two years. Just dealing with everything and what I've been through, and the people who have supported me.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
