«Breaking News» Liam Payne BLASTS fans for pointing out his contradictory remarks about One Direction's reunion

Liam Payne hit out at a fans after they criticised him for making contradictory statements about when One Direction might reunite.

The singer, 25, snapped at the Twitter user on Friday, after they pointed out how he had said in one interview that the band would get back together in 2020, while in another he thought 2020 would be too soon.

Choosing to take out his frustrations by publicly responding to the person, he blasted: 'Can people stop passing blame to me about this I get asked this ridiculous question 500x a day (exaggeration)

'So I just say whatever guess I have at the time... but still this band has 3 other members you want the answer ask them.'

The fan, who did not expect the response from the One Direction star, apologetically responded by saying: 'LIAM IS WAS A JOKE TWEET IM SORRYHDDKKS (sic)'

Following Liam's response, many Twitter users troll the fan, prompting them to explain that they were also a fan and that they had been making a joke.

The group consist of members Liam, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan, after Zayne Malik departed the group in 2015.

One Direction were formed during the 2010 series of The X Factor, each member had auditioned separately but were put together in a group by Nicole Scherzinger and Simon Cowell.

They finished in third place on X Factor and shortly afterwards, it was confirmed that the band had been signed by Cowell to a reported £2million Syco contract and recorded their debut album began in January 2011.

The boys have made no secret of their desire to reunite as One Direction - though it appears any collaboration would be without Zayn.

Liam said last October: ‘There is definitely [a chance]. I saw Louis recently for something that I cannot say, I’ve been in touch with Niall and Harry a little bit. It think it’d be nice if we could get back together but we’ll see. In time, all in good time.

He’s not the first of the band to have spoken about a potential reunion, Niall previously revealed, ‘Basically for the foreseeable we’re doing our own thing, we still keep in touch all the time, it’s very much still there.

‘There’s no doubt about it, I don’t know when, it could be a year, it could be two, but it’ll definitely happen.’

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
