«Breaking News» Gunmen kill 15 at strip club in Mexico while hunting rival cartel members in fuel turf war

A Mexican cartel allegedly unleashed another deadly attack against a rival organization, this time leaving 15 innocent people dead at a strip club.

Federal authorities signaled the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel for carrying out Saturday's massacre at La Playa Men’s Club in Salamanca, which targeted suspected members of the New Jalisco Generation Cartel [NJGN], according to reports from Mexican news outlet Milenio.

On Monday, the Guanajuato Attorney General's Office announced that most of the victims were employees of the Federal Electricity Commission.

At least seven gunmen arrived on trucks before they raided the club and opened fire at customers, which left seven people injured.

The planned assault gave the attackers ample to time to escape the gentlemen's club without being caught by responding police officers.

No arrests have been reported.

Investigators revealed that the bullet casings matched those that were used in previous shootings.

The bloodbath was the second savage attack in over a month that the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel has launched on the NJGN in a battle over turf control of the illegal oil tapping business or ‘huachicoleo’.

Salamanca is home to about 140,000 people. The main pipeline of state oil company Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex) in Guanajuato state runs through the city.

Fuel theft is a massive black market industry in Mexico that has thrived with the help of corrupt officials and company insiders.

Every year, fuel theft costs Pemex about $3 billion, according to government statistics.

The groups have been at war since 2017 when José Antonio 'El Marro' Yépez declared war on the rival organization headed by Nemesio 'El Mencho' Oseguera Cervantes, a former ally of Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzmán.

El Mencho is the most-wanted man in Mexico and one of the most-sought after by the United States Department of Justice, who is offering a $10 million bounty after agency originally offered $5 million.

El Marro's henchmen revealed video images on social media of attack, which reportedly took place February 5, in which they killed five members of the New Jalisco Generation Cartel.

For a week now, members of the Mexican Army and Marines along with dozens federal cops have been participating in an operation to arrest Yépez.

Mexican law enforcement agencies accuse El Marro of stealing oil from Pemex.

Authorities, however, have been met with fierce resistance from El Marro's gang, who last week forced motorists out of their vehicles and set them on fire on four different roads.

Agents did raid several homes closely connected to El Marro, including a residence belonging to his mother-in-law where they seized a cache of cash stuffed envelopes emblazoned with the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel's logo.

A separate investigation last Tuesday led to the arrest of Yépez's sister-in-law, who was identified as Angelica and thought to be at the head of the organization's finance management, and her husband, who happens to be an active federal cop.

Authorities recovered a firearm and a couple of grams of drugs but they were immediately released.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
