Donald Trump has been pictured with two of his grandchildren in a sweet snap shared by his son Don Jr.

The president, 72, can be seen smiling alongside Kai and Donnie, Don Jr's two oldest children, after the family spent the weekend together at Mar-a-Lago, Florida. 

Don Jr, 41, wrote: 'Kai and Donnie had a great time with grandpa @realdonaldtrump last night. It’s always fun for them to be able to get some time in with him since he’s not around NYC much these days.'

Kai, 11, and Donnie, 10, can be seen leaning in proudly to be pictured alongside their suited grandfather.

Dad-of-five Trump, who has nine grandchildren, relaxed on Saturday by hitting the links with rocker-rapper Kid Rock. 

The president was photographed smiling next to the star at his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach on Saturday. 

He spent the weekend with family after Special Counsel Robert Mueller filed his final report Friday.  

The president spent about five hours at the course, with sunny skies above and a high of 77 degrees.

Upon leaving the club shortly after 2pm, he was spotted smiling and waving to supporters who lined the motorcade route.

He had already arrived at his Florida retreat on Friday afternoon when Attorney General Barr revealed that he had received the report.  

Trump, who is spending the weekend at Mar-a-Lago, spent about five hours at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida on Saturday. He is seen as his motorcade returns to Mar-a-Lago

Trump returned to Twitter on Sunday for the first time since Mueller handed in his report but the president merely offered a cheerful greeting as the White House says it still has not seen the findings from the special counsel's investigation of Russia's role in the 2016 election.

'Good Morning, Have A Great Day!,' the president wrote from Mar-a-Lago, where he is spending a long weekend with first lady Melania Trump and their son Barron.

'MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!,' he added, touting his signature campaign theme.

He then headed to his Trump International Golf Course on Sunday morning after his tweets.

Don Jr has five children with ex-wife Vanessa Trump, 41; Kai, age 11, Donnie, age 10, Tristan, seven, Spencer, six, and four-year-old Chloe. 

The couple filed for divorce in September, reached final agreements in November and the matter was closed in February.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
