«Breaking News» Five-year-old's hilarious school photos go viral

A five-year-old boy has captured the hearts of thousands after his mother shared his one-of-a-kind school photo online.

Andriel Miles, 25, from Atlanta, Georgia, was admittedly shocked when she opened up her son Andrew's backpack and found professional pictures of him posing with his mouth wide open as if he were screaming.

The mom shared snapshots of the portraits taken by the school photography company Lifetouch on Facebook last week, writing: 'I’m so mad right now! I checked my son's book bag and find these!!!!'

Andriel was hoping for more traditional photos of her son, and when she took to Facebook to vent, she thought the photographer was to blame.

However, she quickly learned that it was Andrew's idea to make the silly face.

'I just screamed. I was like, "Oh, my,"' she told WMAZ. 'I asked him if anyone asked him to make that face. He said, "No, I just made it."'

To her surprise, Andrew's cheeky pictures have gone viral, receiving more than 56,000 reactions and 41,000 shares since she posted them on March 10.

'I love them...it shows off his amazing personality,' Jessica Girtman commented. 'You'll love pictures like these when he's older because they'll remind you of what a free spirited, amazing kid he was.'

Rachel Huss added: 'I think it’s awesome! All about the personality. He seems like an awesome little boy.'

Andriel eventually saw the humor in the pictures as well, and in a follow-up Facebook post, she revealed that she had purchased the photos after speaking with the company.

'I saw an article that said free spirited photos are their policy,' she wrote. 'If I had known, I’d have no reason to feel upset about not getting a traditional picture. Regardless, knowing that his silly picture brought joy all over the world, how can I continue to be flustered?'

The proud mom explained that her son has 'always been a silly kid with a huge personality,' but she was initially thrown off by the photos because he has taken traditional school portraits in the past 'that were wonderful.'

Although the photos threw her 'for a loop,' she said all the positive comments her son's photos received have 'really warmed her heart.'

'They opened my eyes to see that everything doesn’t need to be cookie cutter,' she wrote. 'Being yourself is even more amazing! Drew sends his love and says thanks again for the love!'

Andriel told WMAZ that she would like Andrew to do retakes so she can have a mix of photos, but it seems as though her son has found his go-to pose.

Andrew said that he plans on making the same face in next year's photos.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
