A Bronx father wore a smirk on his face as he was led in handcuffs out of a police station after being charged with bashing to death his one-month-old son against a wall.
Christian Rodriguez, a 24-year-old father-of-four, on Tuesday was charged with assault causing injury through risk of death; reckless assault of a child involving a brain injury; assault causing injury to a person less than 11 years old and assault causing injury to a person less than 7 years old.
Infant Aiden Rodriguez was pronounced dead after being rushed to a hospital on Monday suffering from head trauma.

Rodriguez was charged with multiple counts of assault in connection to his son's death
NBC New York's video showed Rodriguez sneering as he was led to an awaiting police cruiser. After settling in the backseat, the 24-year-old suspect glared out the window at a crowd of curious onlookers and reporters.
During questioning, Rodriguez told investigators he was taking his baby son home when he 'inadvertently struck the child’s head against the wall,' a police source told The New York Post.
The newborn's mother was also questioned by police, but she has since been let go without any charges.
News camera caught her sobbing and appearing visibly distraught while getting into a car outside the 40th Precinct.
Aiden's five-year-old brother was later removed from the family's apartment at Mill Brook Houses in the 500 block of East 137th Street by the Administration for Children’s Services.
Rodriguez was previously convicted of felony assault for attacking one of his other children.
WPIX11 quoted Rodriguez's cousin as saying that the father 'tried his best' to save Aiden's life.
The parents' neighbors told CBS New York Rodriguez seemed happy to have welcomed his youngest son. One of them said she last saw the man taking a walk with baby Aiden last Friday.

According to the NYPD, just before midnight Monday, police officers responded to Lincoln Hospital after receiving a 911 call reporting possible child abuse.
Investigators were then told by hospital staff that earlier that night, paramedics had been called to Mill Brook Houses on East 137th Street for a medical emergency involving a child.
Aiden Rodriguez was rushed to Lincoln Hospital in serious condition to be treated for head trauma.
The baby was subsequently transferred to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Medical Examiner is expected to perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of the boy’s death.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
