Wes Nelson threw himself into training this week ahead of Saturday's Dancing On Ice final as he tried to distract himself from ex Megan Barton Hanson.
The Love Island star, 20, will face James Jordan and Saara Aalto in the final, and will be doing the notoriously tricky headbanger move in a bid to be crowned the winner.
Wes gave his Instagram followers a glimpse of how his and partner Vanessa Bauers' training was going, as he shared a video of them practising the move.

In the clip, Wes span Vanessa, 22, round by holding her feet at speed before safely returning her to the ice four rotations later.
The post came shortly after it was revealed that Wes was packing in a huge 12 hours of training a day in a bid to stop him thinking about his former girlfriend, the Sun reported.
An insider told the Sun: 'Wes and Vanessa were rehearsing for 12 hours straight last week. Being on the ice is just the distraction he needs right now, especially with everything that's going on with Megan.

'The training is keeping him focused - he wants to do his best but it has been hard for him emotionally.'

It is no surprise that Wes needed a distraction, after he engaged in a racy chat with ex Megan and reportedly asked her to perform an explicit act on Saturday evening.

Reality TV star Wes smouldered at the camera in the hunky snap, which he followed with the comment: 'Extremely annoying that you’re not with me after watching that.'
Flirting up a storm, former stripper Megan responded: 'Them lips... miss you telling me that it’s all mine and that I’m a "good girl."'
Shortly after their raunchy exchange, Wes shared the same image to his Instagram account, which he captioned: 'Starve your distractions feed your focus.'

Last week, Wes broke down in tears over his failed relationship with Megan whilst talking about his chosen skate song ahead of Dancing On Ice's semi-finals.

The TV personality reached the semi-final of the ITV show alongside Vanessa and the contestants had to pick a song that meant something to them.
But when speaking about his hopes to find a love like theirs, the star couldn't help the tears from falling when his thoughts turned to Megan.
Speaking in a VT ahead of his performance, Wes said: 'It's my parents wedding song. My mum and dad genuinely mean the absolute world to me. I can't even thank them enough for how much they've done for me. It's a big thank you to them really.'

He added: 'I think my mum and dad completely personify the word 'love.' Of course I've experienced love but I'd love to love like my parents do.
'Me and Megs we had a really, really good bond and it makes me upset now to talk about it but it isn't great, and it was really, really difficult at the time.'
The couple broke off their relationship after the blonde claimed Wes' DOI partner Vanessa orchestrated her own break-up with ex Louis Nathaniel in a bid to generate headlines ahead of their skating debut.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
