And the winner's wife Ola was left in tears over the former Strictly professional's victory as she put on a supportive display while applauding the champion from the sidelines.
Viewers took to Twitter to praise the CBB star James, 40, and blonde beauty Ola, 36, who have been married for 16 years, as they hailed the pair 'couple goals' and 'inspirational'.

The ballroom dancer beat Wes Nelson and Vanessa Bauer after each pair had to dance the Bolero during the finale, knocking out fellow finalists Saaro Aalto and Hamish Gaman earlier in the evening.
Lifting the trophy, James - who was nursing a shoulder injury but insisted that it wasn't mentioned - said: 'I can't believe it. Oh my Gosh. I couldn't have given it any more.'
A proud Ola was overwhelmed with emotion as she cheered on her husband, and later enthused on Twitter: 'Thank you thank you thank you everyone for your votes!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!'

Proving to be loved-up as ever, Kent native James previously paid tribute to his wife on the show.
He said on the show: 'I knew I wanted to be a dancer from when I was 9, it gave me a feeling I just loved. It’s brought me so many things, including Ola.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
