Comic Relief viewers were joyful as Lily James and Alicia Vikander married in heart-rendering scenes for Four Weddings And A Funeral's spoof on Friday night.

While fans were left giggling with the Mamma Mia! sequel parody, One Red Nose Day And A Wedding left fans emotional when the Four Weddings And A Funeral cast reunited for the sketch 25 years after the movie.

Social media was awash with fans praising the 'brilliant' clip where Hugh Grant snapped hilariously straight back into the character of hapless Charles as he walked his on-screen daughter, played by Lily, up the aisle.

In character, Hugh said: 'Not too late to run, it's a family tradition. I can order you an uber.'

She responded: 'I'm a much better human than you.'

The Absolutely Fabulous star, 60, hilariously recreated the stand-out moment from the second movie where Cher takes to the stage to belt out the lyrics of Fernando.

Social media was awash with praise for the actress as viewers remarked she 'nailed' both very different parts when she impersonated the two stars for the comic moment.

'Crying with laughter at Jennifer Saunders' interpretation of Meryl Streep on Comic Relief :D,' one fan wrote, leading the troops on social media.

As Jennifer took on the role of Meryl's character Donna, she joked she wasn't in the second movie at all despite being the first film's protagonist. 'Am I in this at all?' She said as Meryl.

Other highlights included hilariously shaming Pierce Brosnan's questionable singing in the movie as the show said his character was the 'one who couldn't sing'.

The spoof also made fun of the fact the story is set in Greece but the filmmakers decided to film in Croatia instead.

Elsewhere in the show, Richard Madden and Keeley Hawes drove fans wild when they reunited for the hotly-anticipated Bodyguard spoof segment.

Speculation is rife that Julia Montague will return from the dead in Bodyguard season two after the prime minister was 'killed off' in the fourth episode of season one.

In funny scenes, it did exactly that when Keely clambered into the back of the taxi where she demanded to know whether she would be in the second series.

She then asked Richard's character: 'Do you know if I'm in series two?', to which he bluntly replied with: 'You are dead...', with Keeley cryptically adding: 'Am I?'

Meanwhile, earlier on in the segment, things got a bit crude when Richard joked about getting his 'Glock' out.

Before he was assigned to protecting Lumley's role, he had to go through a series of stringent questions.

In an awkward moment, Dani Dyer admitted reaching the top of Mount Kilimanjaro was 'definitely' better than winning Love Island with her beau Jack Fincham.

Love Island's queen Dani didn't hesitate when Zoe probed the EastEnders actor's daughter over which moment she was more proud of.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
