«Breaking News» Anthony Hopkins' $5m Malibu mansion is feet away from falling off a CLIFF

Anthony Hopkins has begun repair work on his Malibu mansion that escaped virtually unscathed from wildfires that ripped through California last year - but caused more of the cliff it is perched on to erode.

The Welsh actor's $5million beach home was miraculously left standing after the deadly Woolsey fire, while his next-door-neighbor's home was completely leveled by the flames.

The fire, that killed three people and scorched through more than 98,000 acres last November, left soil on the cliff exposed.

Then torrential downpours - the most severe in 40 years - turned the land to mud, causing more of the cliff to erode.

The Silence of The Lambs actor's house now has blue tarpaulin, netting and scaffolding over part of it suggesting that it did succumb to minor damage during the fire.

The images show work is also underway to restore the home of the 81-year-old star's neighbor.

Mudslides have rocked the LA area following record rainfall in the area after the wildfires.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
