Best Stunts has been a proposed category for the award show since 1991. It has been rejected every year since.

Included on their pages are a plethora of photos showing various stunt actors, coordinators and allies holding signs that read: 'Oscars, add a stunt coordinator category!'

Stand Up For Stunts also includes a link to a petition demanding that stunt professionals be honored for their work. It has just under 100K signatures.

The petition reads: 'Many people do not know that Stunt Professionals do not get an Academy Award, even though they are the ones who literally risk life and limb for their life's passion, the ART FORM they have spent their lifetimes MASTERING. The ART of ACTION!

'Without their selfless contribution to film, the movies we know and love, would not be nearly as impactful. It is the ART of ACTION, that allows us to experience those thrilling and breathtaking moments that makes our hearts beat faster. Observing the ARTWORK of Stunt Professionals can literally change the way our bodies function!'

'I train hard everyday to go to set and be in charge of protecting the cast and crew,' she explained to the DailyMail.com. 'I've been injured many times. At least twice a year, I get hurt badly. I barely get recognition from the actresses I double. The least The Academy can do is show how important, necessary and dangerous our job is.'

'The Academy doesn't want to give recognition to stunt performers because since the beginning, the actors wanted to create a facade of doing their own stunts and truly being the character they're portraying,' she added. 'We all know this isn't the truth.'

The stunt actress asserted that she is insistent about the recognition because she has lost 'too many friends on the job to not fight.'

Ellis continued: 'My friend John Bernecker (left), who brought me to my first stunt training, lost his life on the set of The Walking Dead. Joi Harris (right) lost her life on her very first stunt job on Deadpool 2. We risk it all for your entertainment and don't get recognition because of actors' egos. It's b******t.

'And it's been time we get awarded for our work. We are skilled performers. We train hard. We do a job that most actors physically can't do safely.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
