She’s a BRIT Award winning singer/songwriter, ex coach on The Voice, and even a DC Comics villain in the upcoming Batman prequel series Pennyworth.
But for Paloma Faith, 37, those roles revolve around her life as a mum to her two-year-old child with partner Leyman Lahcine.

Candid: Paloma Faith, 37, has found motherhood has gradually and inevitably infused and inspired her work over the past two years
Acclaimed albums, acting roles and hit collaborations have meant a hectic decade for the singer since her 2009 debut single Stone Cold Sober entered the charts.
Combine that frantic pace of life with her kooky persona, and those looking from the outside in at the star would perhaps expect her parenting style to be untethered and as maverick as her dress sense.
But Paloma insists when it comes to juggling work and motherhood, structure is key.
Sweet: The singer told MailOnline at the launch of her new pram collaboration for Cosatto this weekend that 'parenthood has given me the ultimate perspective'
‘I was kind of worried at the beginning because I wasn’t sure whether I trusted myself to keep a baby alive but now I feel like I’m pretty in touch with what I thought I would be like as a mother,’ she explains.
‘I was always really sure that I was going to have a very structured life for my child and I know that from the outside, and a lot of my friends, expected me to be very boho about it but I always have had this thing of “no I want a set bedtime and I want a set structure”. ‘
‘It’s important, I actually put it in my diary like “I’m going to spend this block of time with my kid” and it won’t change because that timetable is always the same. I try and have it in my diary that I will be at home between six and eight for bedtime and then I can go back to work at eight.’
Paloma has previously admitted that she returned to work soon after giving birth in 2016 to earn money. Following an unnerving call from her accountant, she released her fourth studio album The Architect 11 months after welcoming her child.
Busy bee: Acclaimed albums, acting roles and hit collaborations have meant a hectic decade for the singer since her 2009 debut single Stone Cold Sober entered the charts
‘It’s hard because I’m the sole breadwinner and the industry I work in if work comes your way you’re obliged to take it because you don’t know if it’s ever going to come again,’ she points out.
‘A lot of working parents have moments where they feel sad and guilty and a little bit torn. But because of all the different hours that I work sometimes I have the luxury of spending a Monday with them. But I feel like guilt prevails.’
She has found a way to combine her two worlds though, with her new pram range with Cosatto the manifestation of that.
Wild leopard print, intricate embroidery and a bold colour palette ensure the range of prams and accessories (and their owners ) will stand out from the crowd, something which Paloma knows she has always done thanks to her own personal style.
Fun: Combine that frantic pace of life with her kooky persona, and those looking from the outside in at the star would perhaps expect her parenting style to be as maverick as her dress sense
‘When I was off on maternity leave I didn’t think much of the maternity wear or the kids wear I was seeing, it all felt a bit alien to me and my style,’ she explains, adding of her first design collaboration: ‘It’s the perfect partnership, we share the same ethos.’
And she’s not stopping at pram designs, admitting her head is full of bold new ideas.
‘I really want to do maternity and children’s wear that suits my ethos. My maternity wear would be “why do you have to be an unstylish blob when you’re pregnant”’ she excitedly reveals.
Whatever her future plans, there’s no getting away from the fact that now as a mother, the world is a different place for the star, and even her musical tastes have changed.
'Structure is key!': But Paloma insists when it comes to juggling work and motherhood, structure is key
‘I started to look at the world in a different way when I was pregnant and that really fed into my songwriting. Even my idea of what a love song is, is different now,’ she says.
‘It’s the ultimate love. I listen to love songs in a different way to what I used to. The other day I was listening to Sting’s Every Breath You Take. I used to think that was a stalkery song that I didn’t like at all but now it’s “every step you take, every move you make, I’ll be watching you” it feels like parenthood.’

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
