«Breaking News» Khloe Kardashian discusses 'crazy' decision to chop 8 inches off hair

She's impulsive by nature and is constantly surprising her famous family with her decisions.

And Khloe Kardashian proudly showcased the results of her dramatic hair transformation on her Instagram account on Tuesday, branding her decision 'craziness'.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 34, revealed she had enlisted the help of her model sister Kendall Jenner's hair stylist to chop eight inches off her locks.

Khloe shared a pouty selfie of her new platinum blonde bob, peering out from beneath a side part.

She enthused: 'Ahhhh thank you @traceycunningham1 for always going along with my craziness!! Coloring my hair at 6am in the rain!

'AND for @jenatkinhair for taking time away from Kendall Jenner to chop my hair!! We cut about 8 inches off'.

Khloe and her niece Penelope Disick got matching haircuts - marking Penelope's first-ever.

The TV star took to Instagram with a pair of images showcasing the new coifs, in which she posed with Penelope, six, and her father, Scott Disick, 35.

'So basically, P is obsessed with me (jk) lol how FREAKING CUTE is she with her hair cut???!!!?' Khloe said of the cut, which was done by stylist-to-the-stars Andrew Fitzsimons.

The reality star was earlier seen with the father and daughter in Sherman Oaks, California at the baby shop Sap and Honey while filming scenes for the family's E! series.

The new 'do was a big hit as well with Penelope's mom (and Khloe's sister) Kourtney, who took to the social media site to commemorate the style milestone for her daughter.

'First ever hair cut in all of her enchanting six years,' said the 39-year-old mom-of-three, also to sons Mason, nine, and son Reign, four, with Disick.

Fitzsimons posted a new shot of Penelope, saying it was 'pretty special' to handle the scissors on the occasion.

Family-minded: Khloe has been something of the glue in the fast-moving Kardashian family over the years, usually maintaining strong relationships with most of her relatives

Khloe has matched Penelope's hair before, as the pair got matching plait extensions with french braids while on a April 2016 vacation to Vail, Colorado.

Family-minded Khloe has always maintained a strong relationship with Scott, revealing to Complex four years ago that they're the 'best of friends.'

Khloe, who shares daughter True with Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson, noted that she 'hated [Scott] before' they came to an accord.

'Overall I love his progression and growth,' she told the magazine of Disick, who's been involved with model Sofia Richie, 20, closing in on two years.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
