Yet Kate Beckinsale emerged alone on Monday evening as she headed out without her alleged beau to enjoy a night on the town to celebrate her pal Jonathan Voluck's birthday, during which she was putting on a glam display.

The 45-year-old Underworld star looked sensational as she departed her pal's birthday, hot on the heels of claims that she is dating the SNL funnyman, 25, who recently shot to huge fame due to his romance with Ariana Grande.

Kate was beaming as she headed out in her low-key look while smiling broadly after a night of fun to mark her pal's birthday bash.

She wore her glossy locks in curls falling from a centre while her make-up was flawless with dewy skin and a glossy lip giving a polished feel. 

In her typically hilarious social media style, she took to Instagram to share a shot of her evening however could not resist poking fun at the size of her hands.

She wrote: Celebrating [Jonathan's] birthday with my enormous man hands that are bigger than everyone’s head LITERALLY FLAPPED TWICE AND FLEW HOME'.

Kate has been in the headlines amid her rumoured romance with SNL star Pete. The Sun report that they are planning on taking a trip to get to know each other better.

The new couple were previously seen holding hands as they left the Largo comedy club in Los Angeles on February 2. Prior to that, they were spotted cozying up and flirting all night long at the Golden Globes on January 6.

When TMZ photographers caught up last week with Pete's ex, Ariana Grande, she said the burgeoning couple were 'So cute.'

Kate had a very cheeky response when a fan asked her about the rumours on Instagram recently. 

While the actress was sharing a glam photo of her model mother Judy on the social media platform, one follower was keen to know more about Pete, commenting: 'Dear heavens, Kate. Not Pete Davidson.'

Kate, famed for her quick-witted Instas, sassily responded: 'No that's my mother. Easy mistake.'

Pete is coming off a recent whirlwind engagement to pop star Ariana, while Kate was snapped kissing Jack Whitehall in a karaoke bar in November.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
