A homeless man who was found dead on the streets during freezing temperatures said he was 'done' and couldn't 'live like this anymore' just months before died.
Passers-by found Kane Walker, 31, near Birmingham's Bullring shopping centre at 3.30pm on Sunday January 27.
Upsetting video of Mr Walker, which was recorded last August, shows him talking to outreach worker Colin Rankine - the founder of Active Christians.
In the footage a visibly upset Mr Walker says: 'I'm not living like this no more. This ain't my life. I'm done.'
Video recorded in August of Kane Walker, who was found dead in Birmingham last Sunday, shows him speaking to an outreach worker and crying as he says: 'I'm done, I'm done'
The short clip starts with Mr Rankine telling Mr Walker to have a 'cup of tea' and to come over and sit down next to him.
Mr Walker says: 'There's no point brother, I'm done now. I'm not gonna be here.
'I'm not living like this no more. This ain't my life. I'm done, I'm done. You've never seen me like this before. I'm done.'
Mr Walker then starts to cry and his voice shakes before he says 'I'm done' one more time before walking off.
Mr Walker, who had lost both parents and his grandmother, was said to have refused offers of help from family and friends and instead slept on the streets.
He spent 'a number of years' sleeping in doorways and sheltering beneath bridges and was a familiar face to homeless outreach teams operating in Birmingham.
Those close to Mr Walker also claimed that he was plagued by depression and hooked on Black Mamba.
Emergency services were called on Sunday but Mr Walker was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out, but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
Peter Caine, founder of Helping the Homeless in Birmingham, said Mr Walker's death had 'hit the team hard'.
Mr Caine said: 'We've known him for around four years - since we started. It hit the team quite badly.
'He was a good guy and a pleasure for the team to meet on our outreach. He always brought us a smile and will not be forgotten. We hope he has found peace now.'
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: 'We were called just after 3:30pm to Pershore Street, near Birmingham Master Locksmiths.
'Two ambulances, a paramedic and care team were sent to the scene. On arrival crews found a man in cardiac arrest. He was sadly confirmed dead at the scene.'
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: 'We were called at 3:50pm by the ambulance service.
'The body of a 31-year-old man was sadly discovered at the scene. There are not thought to have been any suspicious circumstances.'
It is understood Mr Walker was a friend of homeless man Damien Deenan, who died on the streets in April 2017 after smoking Black Mamba.
Helping the Homeless in Birmingham meet fortnightly to hand out clothing, hot drinks, hot food, sleeping bags and sanitary products.
Mr Caine added: 'Anyone can become homeless at any time. Services on the street need to improve - more people like us signposting people to appropriate services.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
