«Breaking News» 'Hen party punch-up' forces Ryanair flight from Glasgow to Malaga to be diverted

A Ryanair flight from Glasgow to Spain had to be diverted last night after a 'full fist fight' reportedly broke out on board amid scenes of 'absolute chaos'.

Eyewitnesses said two men traded punches after a drunk male passenger had 'started pestering women in a hen party'.

Cabin crew had to ask passengers for help as the violence unfolded in the aisle, the witness said.

The plane, which had been heading from Glasgow Prestwick to the southern Spanish city of Malaga, was forced to divert to Madrid.

A disruptive passenger was met by Spanish police in the country's capital before the jet carried on to its intended destination.

A passenger told the Glasgow Evening Times: 'The fight started when one drunk man started pestering women in a hen party.

'Two men were trading punches in a full fist fight in the aisle. The cabin crew had to ask the passengers for help.

'The back of the plane was in absolute chaos. One drunk man was still causing a scene and resisting 20 minutes later.'

Another passenger told MailOnline that members of the hen party - in their 20s and 30s - had been 'singing and screaming' for the entire flight and suggested their behaviour may have been partly to blame for the incident.

'From the moment they sat down they were singing and shouting, it was really, really awful,' she said.

'They were very loud and obnoxious - one of them had a princess crown on.'

Passengers stood up and appeared 'shocked' when a brawl broke out, she said. Cabin crew made an announcement asking for help and a male passenger could be seen bear hugging one of the brawling men and carrying him to the other end of the plane.

The witness, who asked not to be named, said she did not understand why the other man involved in the fight was not removed from the plane as well on landing in Madrid.

She said the journey was delayed by nearly three hours as a result of the incident.

'It was the worst flight in my life,' she told MailOnline.

A Ryanair statement said: 'The flight from Glasgow Prestwick to Malaga diverted to Madrid and the crew requested police assistance upon arrival after a passenger became disruptive in-flight.

'The aircraft landed normally and police removed and detained an individual before the aircraft continued to Malaga.

'We will not tolerate unruly or disruptive behaviour at any time and the safety and comfort of our customers, crew and aircraft is our number one priority.

'This is now a matter for local police.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
