The tight-knight community are fearing for the lives of cats after six felines were killed on the same street.
Neighbours in Paignton, Devon, say they have been repeatedly targeted for nearly two years by the animal torturer dubbed the Paignton Predator.
The police and RSPCA are investigating the horrific nature of the attacks - which include the pets returning home with burns to their genitals and objects inserted inside them.

Cat owners are desperate to catch the killer and fear the death toll will rise if they are not apprehended.
The murders have galvanised the community and neighbours are attempting to raise £1,000 to offer as a reward for anyone who has information on the killer.
Debbie Johnson set up a Just Giving page fundraise money and so far it has raised £695.
She said: 'To date at least six cats have succumbed to this attacker.
'We aim to share info and set up a collection to get funds to offer a reward to anyone who can help bring this person to justice, securing arrest and conviction of said person.'
Phil and Yvonne Harrison lost their cats Ziggy and Tayou but were shocked to discover that other neighbours have also lost others in similar circumstances.
All the attacks happened to pets living near numbers 12-16 Roundham Road, or directly opposite.
Phil, 62, believes that the cat killer is targeting pets that belong to vulnerable owners.
He said: 'It's really sad because it's quite a peaceful neighbourhood, with a very low crime rate.
'Police sent out a letter in mid December saying this has been happening and asking people to be vigilant and asking for anybody with information to contact them and warning that the person responsible would be guilty of animal cruelty.
His wife Yvonne added: 'So far we've had very little help investigating this. My visually impaired husband has been left to investigate this by himself, and has been attempting to set up a neighbourhood watch with no support, other than from fellow neighbours.
'RSPCA keep saying they'll 'get back to us', and 'are investigating' but nothing is happening so far, and the local cats are in significant danger. We've now bought a GPS tracker for our cat, so we can see where she is at all times, and keep her in at night.'
Phil said he has two sons with autism who have been desperately upset by the cruelty and deaths of Ziggy and Tayour.
In 2016 Lucy Robson, said her 18-month-old cat Princess had been 'tortured and completely mangled' by thugs who also cut all her fur with scissors.
Princess, whose home was in the Kings Ash area about 3 miles from the Roundham Road attacks, was strung up in a noose before having acid poured over her face in a sickening attack - resulting in he being put down.
Another elderly neighbour in Roundham Road, said they is still too upset to talk after the death of her ginger tom, Sam, who died after having objects stuffed inside it's back passage in Spring 2017.

Another elderly neighbour has lost his two cats Alice and Lilly.
Alice suffered a horrific crush injury, which the vet said was not caused by a road accident and had to be put down, while Lilly was left incontinent after being attacked and had to be put down because of internal injuries
Ziggy was attacked in spring 2017, suffering a broken femur and burnt-off whiskers. A pin was fitted in her leg, costing a £1300 vet bills.
Sam was attacked spring 2017 and suffered a number of horrific injuries including items stuffed into his internal cavities.
Tayou was attacked November 2018 and died from his injuries last month.
Tayou's penis was burnt off with a cigarette lighter and he suffered anal burns and burnt off whiskers.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
