«Breaking News» Delta flight makes emergency landing after severe turbulence injures 5

Five people are injured after a Delta Airlines flight experienced severe turbulence and was forced to make an emergency landing. 

Flight 5763 was heading to Seattle, Washington from Santa Ana, California Wednesday when the turbulence led to the plane landing in Reno, Nevada. 

Three of the injured passengers were taken to a local hospital, according to Reno-Tahoe International Airport spokesperson Brian Kulpi. 

A video was posted to Twitter from a passenger inside the aircraft showing frazzled passengers as items thrown in the aisle.

Five passengers were injured on the flight due to the turbulence and three were taken to the hospital 

'Crazy turbulence and injuries, but the @delta crew handled it perfectly, even the emergency landing,' the passenger Joe Justice wrote.

The flight was being operated by compass Airlines and had 59 passengers and four crewmembers on board. 

'We apologize for this experience as we get customers to Seattle,' the airline said in a statement. 

The National Weather Service has warned pilots of 'downright dangerous flying conditions with extreme turbulence'

'This is a particularly dangerous situation for aviation in the lee of the Sierra over the next few days,' the weather service said.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
