«Breaking News» Couple sues Planned Parenthood clinic for child support after failed abortion in 2016

A couple has sued Planned Parenthood for child support after an abortion procedure failed to terminate their pregnancy.

Bianca Coons and Cristobal Ruiz filed the lawsuit against a Planned Parenthood in Albuquerque, New Mexico demanding $765,000 for the cost of raising the child and other damages, the Albuquerque Journal reported.

In February 2016, the couple drove more than 700 miles from their home in Idaho to the abortion clinic in New Mexico, according to the suit.

Coons was six weeks pregnant at the time, and feared that Idaho's mandatory waiting period would take her further into the pregnancy than she felt morally comfortable with an abortion.

The couple already had two children at the time, and feared that they couldn't support another, according to the complaint.

In New Mexico, Coons underwent a medicated abortion, which uses two different medications to terminate a pregnancy.

Coons was given the first medication at the New Mexico clinic, along with instructions to take the second medication back in Idaho, her lawsuit states.

The couple's attorney, John McCall, said she took the second round of medication as instructed. But a blood test showed that she was still pregnant.

The lawsuit states that Planned Parenthood offered to perform a second procedure for free in the New Mexico clinic, or said that Coons could go to an Idaho clinic and undergo the procedure for a fee.

The couple say they didn't have the money for a second trip to New Mexico, however. As well, by this point Coons was around nine weeks pregnant.

'Ms. Coons could not morally sanction further action to terminate the fetus,' the suit states.

The lawsuit claims that the couple's son was born a month early 'with jaundice and blood sugar issues,' and the family continues to worry that he 'may carry a defect or injury into adulthood.'

A Planned Parenthood spokeswoman said she was unable to comment on pending litigation, and declined to comment on specific patients out of respect for patient privacy.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
