A remote hut with access to one of the world's richest rivers has hit the market, offering a rare chance for potential prospectors to buy their very own gold mine.
The hut sits on the banks of the Wakamarina River in Marlborough, on New Zealand's South Island.
Once considered one of the richest rivers in the world, the area was swarmed by thousands of miners in the 1860s during a gold rush that continued on to the nearby West Coast.
A mining licence is up for grabs on auction website Trade Me with a starting bid of $75,000, which includes the hit and access to more than 5km of the Wakamarina.
The area has sat mostly untouched for more than 100 years.

'Rich crevices are still being discovered and [the river] contains heavy nuggets,' the listing for the mining licence reads.
The licence is valid until January 2026, and its current owners say they are giving it up as they are now aged in their 60s.
Gold was first found in the Wakamarina River by four prospectors in early 1864. according to the Encyclopaedia of New Zealand 1966.
Just months later, roughly 6,000 men rushed to the area in the hope of striking it rich, many of them from Australia.

About 25,000 troy ounces (778kg) of gold were found in the river in 1864.
The miners continued to explore parts of the South Island, hunting down new fields on the West Coast.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
