A Russian man who has become an online sensation for posting content of a uniquely tame mountain lion he purchased at a zoo is warning others not to follow in his footsteps.
Alexandr Dmitriev frequently posts viral photos and videos of the three-year-old wild cat named Messi to his social media accounts and YouTube channel, I_am_puma.
Dmitriev, who is married, said he bought the cougar, born in October 2015, when he was one-year-old.
The owner said the mountain lion is trained four times a week - is 'unique,' 'very gentle' and 'does not bite'.
The wild cat lives with the family in an apartment, uses the toilet twice a day and only consumes meat, the owner said on YouTube.

Dmitriev added that Messi 'does not spoil the furniture and plays without claws.'
'He likes when he is stroked and loves to talk. Also the kitty (sphinx) Kira lives with us and she does not like the cat very much. She beats his paws and hisses at him.
'No need to offer to release the cat in the nearest forest or pass in the reserve. That makes no sense... the state of health of this animal does not allow him to live not only in the wild, but even in an aviary on the street.'
While the arrangement seems to be successful for this family, they are advising others against doing the same.
'We sincerely do not recommend getting puma at home. It is very dangerous! Messi is unique, do not repeat it!'

Dmitriev could not be immediately reached by DailyMail.com for comment Wednesday night.
As of 2018, only four US states allow wild animals as pets, including Alabama, Nevada, North Carolina and Wisconsin, according to bigcatrescue.org.
And 21 states have banned wild animals as pets, and the remaining require permits or only allow certain species as pets.
The Law Library of Congress states that in Russia, 'keeping species listed as rare or endangered in captivity and their release back into the wild requires the permission of federal authorities in charge of environmental protection.
'All subspecies of big cats that live in Russia are included in a government-approved list of animals and plants recognized as rare or endangered.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage.
