«Breaking News» Golden Globes: Thandie Newton wows in an ab-baring silver gown as she cosies up to husband Ol Parker

She's attracted acclaim — and a Golden Globe nomination — for her role as sentient android madam Maeve Millay in the hit HBO show Westworld.

And Thandie Newton, 46, ensured she stepped out in eye-catching style when she attended the 76th annual Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills on Sunday, wowing in an ab-baring silver sequinned gown.

The British beauty effortlessly turned heads as she sauntered down the Beverly Hilton Hotel's red carpet in her ensemble of choice — but she only had eyes for her husband of almost 21 years, Ol Parker, who joined her at the star-studded event.

Thandie's sleeveless dress featured a plunging neckline and cut-outs at her abs and obliques, flattering her enviably lean frame.

She wore her glossy black tresses in voluminous loose curls with a centre-parting, while her makeup palette included a smokey eyeshadow and nude lipstick.

Accessorising with large hoop earrings and a glittering diamond ring, lauded actress Thandie arrived in typically glamorous style for the annual event.

As she made her way to the show, Thandie took to Instagram to share a shot of herself cuddling up to her husband in the back of a chauffeur-driven car.

Captioning the heartwarming image, she wrote: 'My sweet hubster taking up the slack — always so calming and kind. And plays the sickest playlists while I’m getting ready @goldenglobes @westworldhbo @hbo.'

The actress is nominated in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television at the Golden Globes for her efforts in Westworld.

It's already shaping up to be a stellar 2019 for the acclaimed actress, after it was announced that she is set to receive an OBE for services to film and charity, as she led the stars on The Queen's New Year's Honours List.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
