«Breaking News» Jake Ellis slams Nick Cummins for his performance... as other fans brand him the worst Bachelor ever

Bachelor In Paradise star Jake Ellis has slammed The Bachelor's Nick Cummins for his lack of emotion on the reality TV show.

Jake, 31, who also appeared on The Bachelorette in 2016, took to the show's official  Instagram page to complain on Wednesday, writing: 'Look, I was a fan at the start of the Badge... but literally I could have seen more emotion from Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family than I just did from him.'

He was reacting to a scene in Wednesday's episode which saw Brooke Blurton, 23, left the competition early because Nick was unable to properly express his feelings for her.

The Addams Family is a fictional family created by cartoonist Charles Addams known for their morbid and macabre outlook on life.

The character of Wednesday Addams seldom shows any emotion.

Youth worker Brooke, who was once a favourite to win The Bachelor, chose to leave the show of her own accord on Wednesday's episode.

Before she left, Brooke tearfully asked Nick for more 'reassurance' and 'certainty' from him because she feared being left heartbroken.

'I came here to fall in love... I need a guy that knows what he wants and can tell me that's me,' Brooke said.

'I need to go home,' she added, as Nick bowed his head in disbelief.

'I'm not going to stand in your way, as much as I want to, because my respect for you and how much I care for you outweighs the selfishness of me wanting you to be out here,' Nick replied.

Following Jake's comments, other viewers expressed their disappointment with Nick's apparent lack of emotion during the exchange.

'He has to be the worst Bachelor ever,' read one Instagram comment. 'He has shown no real emotion to any of the girls and couldn't even express any emotions at all! Just sits there like a log of wood, boring.'

Another fan complained: 'He's so boring to watch, may as well have a puppet. What a wasted season. The most emotionless bachelor season of all time.'

'He's good at being charming but doesn't seem to have any genuine emotions underneath it all,' read a similar comment. 

Meanwhile, one viewer asked pointedly: 'Why do the girls have to declare their love for him but he gives them nothing?'

The Bachelor concludes Thursday at 7.30pm on Network Ten

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
