«Breaking News» Video of white Dallas cop being booked for shooting her black neighbor

Video footage has emerged of the moment a white female cop was arrested in Dallas for shooting dead her black neighbor three days after killing him.

Amber Guyger, 30, appears in the video putting her head in her hands as she is booked for manslaughter for the death of Botham Jean, 26, her St Lucian neighbor who she shot dead in his apartment after apparently mistaking it for her own and him for an intruder.

The shooting happened on September 6 but Guyger was not arrested until three days later.

Guyger was released on a $300,000 bond that was posted by an attorney not long after she was taken into custody.

Jean, a banking associate who was afraid of being racially profiled in Texas, was at home alone when she shot him.

Her story is that she arrived at the apartment thinking it was hers after a shift and found the front door ajar.

The Dallas cop (seen in her mugshot) shot dead Botham Jean, 26, in his apartment. They lived a floor apart and she claims she entered his apartment, mistaking it for her own, and encountered him. She claimed the door was ajar when she arrived and says she thought Botham was an intruder

When she went inside, she said she saw his silhouette and thought he was an intruder in her home. Guyger claimed she issued verbal commands but that he ignored him.

She fired twice, shooting him once in the chest.

But Jean's family and neighbors have cast doubt on her version of events.

Witnesses who were in the building at the time say they heard a woman banging on a door and shouting 'Let me in, let me in,' seconds before the first shots rang out.

Seconds later, they say they heard a man yelling: 'Oh my God, why did you do that?'

The witness said they thought those were Jean's final words.

When Dallas police found marijuana in his apartment afterwards, his family considered it an attempt to discredit him and protect her.

They say he would never have sat at home in his living room in the dark with his door unlocked as Guyger claimed he did and that she must have known it wasn't her home because he had a distinctive red doormat.

The doors in the building are electronic and a green light flashes when it is unlocked.

On Thursday, the victim's family held a funeral in Texas to mourn their loss.

There, relatives described Guyger as 'quick-to-trigger' and lamented the fact that his death was caused by someone whose job is to 'protect and serve.'

Both sides say the pair had never met before Jean's death.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
